BBB Prediction Blog: Chikn Nuggit VS Erma

At one point, these two lived the best lives with the people they loved, but after learning and seeing who they really are, all the world went outside down; everything was destructive and insane, but despite everything, they managed to survive, and they learned to live with it.
Before We Start…
For this blog, both are pretty simple pieces of media, so they don’t have much to use other than their original source material.
For Chikn Nuggit, we’ll be using all of his shorts on all platforms like TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, DeviantArt and YouTube. And for Erma, we’ll use her original webcomic in Tapas and Webtoon, animated shorts, and her game. We are also using other comics and spin-offs set in the same universe like ‘Tales of Outcast’, ‘The Labyrinth’, ‘Spirits Bloom’, and others for scaling and extra information.
As for all the crossovers we see both characters be in once in a while, we'll cover all of that in the 'Before the Verdict' section.
I'd also like to thank everyone who contributed thumbnails for the blog, from MetallyIll and PlatinumTurtleman for contributing some calcs to the blog, to LoganSCPLOVER for helping me so much with various aspects of the blog, such as images, edit images, research, discussion, and more. This was originally going to be his blog, but I spoke with him, and he agreed to let me publish it in my blog series. He thought it would be best for the blog.
Without further ado, let's begin.
Background
Chikn Nuggit
But soon his social circle would expand even more, with Iscream the ''Bunny'' who loves everything macabre and wicked, Slushi the fandom-obsessed arctic fox, Fwench Fwy the wish-granting dragon, Sody Pop the red panda with an explosive personality, Cofi the sheep in wolf's clothing, and other little cute animals with food pun names that hang out with Chikn and the gang from time to time.
From there, Chikn and his friends would get into so many hijinx and wacky shenanigans, from the relatable, to the random, to the scary, to the wholesome, to the cute. But despite everybody doing anything at any time, the one consistent thing in all these videos has always been Chikn Nuggit being the voice of support and encouragement for everyone, from his friends to even the audience; he has always had his shoulders and ears available to help anybody to have their happiness and for them to accept who they are.
The life of Chikn Nuggit and his friends was the most fun and wholesome it could be... or so it was until a new character joined the cast: Bezel, the ''Embodiment of Time.'' Bezel always seems out of place, not fitting in with everyone else's visual style, and only appearing occasionally to be a thorn in everyone's side for no other reason than his own amusement. The more time he spent there, the more secrets would be revealed over time; it would be revealed that Fwench Fwy and Iscream are interdimensional immortal beings who represent pure good and pure evil, respectively, that all the wacky gags happening on the show were actually happening in-universe, and that the little puppy Chikn Nuggit was actually a god.
Long ago, there was a prophecy that said a demigod of Chaos would fall to Earth to warp reality beyond recognition to his own desire. Originally, Fwench Fwy and Iscream were sent to monitor this powerful entity and perhaps recruit him to their side, but upon Bezel's arrival, he changed the status quo in his favor. Planting the seed of doubt in Chikn, reminding him of the passage of time, and making him think about many things about his world and himself that he hadn't thought about before, giving him so many existential crises.
Over time, Chikn's friends end up spending more time with each other than with him, from Slushi taking care of Sody Pop, Fwench Fwy and Iscream spending their time thinking about other things, and even Cheezborger and Cofi spending a lot of their time in their new relationship as girlfriends, leaving Chikn Nuggit as a side character in his own show, giving Bezel the perfect opportunity to finally achieve his goal. Affecting the little guy in a way that he begins to use his powers unconsciously, breaking him down piece by piece, all that suffering until he finally accepted who he was—the demigod of chaos, and he was ready to break the fabric of reality, as that was his destiny.
Bezel finally succeeded, destroying all of reality in so many chaotic ways, causing destruction and terror to everyone around him, just as the Doomsday Clock (Plot Twist) always wanted. But everything quickly spiraled out of control, even for Bezel, who was also affected by the chaos he himself caused, leaving him with no choice but to join forces with Fwench Fwy and Iscream to stop Chikn once and for all by using the combined power of all three to trap him in a purple bubble.
But during all this, Chikn has begun to have second thoughts about all this chaos-creating, fighting himself to stop hurting his friends, all alone. Chee knew she could break through Chikn, so she entered the bubble and began telling Chikn the same words of support he would tell her to make herself feel better in situations like this: that he doesn't have to be anything he doesn't want to be. And after giving him a hug that made him remember the good times, making peace with his chaotic side, and having a healthy discussion about his emotions with Chee, the Chikn Nuggit we all love and know returned to normal.
Having accepted his role as the demigod of Chaos, Chikn clarified that everything would return to how it was before, with everyone creating the fun and silly chaos they always did, thanking his friends for always caring about him and trying their best to help him, even if they or he weren't perfect. He even forgave Bezel for everything he had done, promising that the two would improve as people.
Because at the end of the day, that's what Chikn Nuggit (the character and the show) is really about: the mundane, the nice, the fun, the everyday things that give everyone pleasure in life. Sometimes life isn't about the exciting future, the epic quest, or the grand adventure, but about the here and now, the little things that make us laugh, and the friends we make along the way.
Erma
Erma was anything but a normal little girl, it was obvious from the day she was born there was a red sky that caught the attention of all sorts of supernatural beings, with even an invincible man coming to the hospital she was born in and telling her that she would be responsible for ending the world one day (but we don't have to worry about any of this any time soon... I think).
But aside from that small detail, Erma has lived a relatively normal life in the small town of Blairwood for a girl her age; she would go to elementary school, become a fan of the Warrior Unicorn Princess franchise, watch horror movies like they were comedies, scare some people for fun, get a little puppy named Siris, and she would make plenty of friends like the bow-wearing Miko, the WUP fangirl Sylvia, the rat girl Sidney, the prankster Terry, her nice boyfriend Connor, her cool and relaxed babysitter Felicia, and her best friend Amy.
But despite being raised as an ordinary girl, Erma was anything but ordinary. Many people, especially her teachers, have always looked at Erma and her family with oddities because of how they stand out in their small town and how Erma and Emiko have no problem using their Yōkai abilities in their daily lives. But the thing is, Erma is only an oddity in her small town; Erma's world is one where supernatural creatures, mythologies, cryptids, folklore, legends, literary and movie characters, and basically anything that can be classified as a 'monster,' exists, and some people are aware of them.
And this supernatural world has been present in Erma's life despite her mostly living as a normal girl. There's a Supernatural Detective who has been watching her family for a while, her dog may be the Egyptian God of the Dead Osiris, there's a whole civilization of rat people living under her school, there was a sentient ventriloquist puppet with the soul of a man in Erma's room, she was inside a video game that hypnotized people, and she's had to deal with all of that at some point in her short life.
But despite all that, the experience that affected Erma the most was when she met her mother's family. One day, Emiko received an invitation from her sister Yori to return to their home village to celebrate the Night Parade, a festival where all the Yōkai parade through the streets of Japan. Although Emiko was obviously worried about this, she and Sam realized they couldn't escape any longer and that Erma had the right to meet the rest of her family. So they flew to Japan, and when they arrived, Erma was immediately bullied by a pair of twins who took her doll and teased her to get it back... it turned out that those were her cousins, Mitsu and Momo.
Erma and her family are taken to the secret Yureimoto village, where she meets the rest of the Yureimoto family, including her aunt Ena, aunt Mayumi, aunt Fumiko, aunt Rin, and uncle Kentaro. Everyone was excited and happy to meet their little niece, some more than others, but still. Despite some problems like the constant bullying from Mitsu and Momo, an accident involving her aunt Rin and a group of Yōkai thugs, and a group of Yōkai kids whom Erma tried to befriend but couldn't, the trip to Japan was quite nice. She had fun getting to know the village and her family, the parade was an incredible experience, even her grandfather Osamu, whom her mother resented for how he treated her and her siblings in their childhood, acted like a nice and friendly grandpa to his granddaughter.
Everything was going fine... until the Yōkai kids and thugs captured Erma out of hatred for her and her family and placed her inside a tree containing the souls of fallen Japanese to see what would happen. Inside, all Erma could see and hear were the suffering souls of millions of people who had once lived, stripping her of her identity and blaming her for atrocities she never committed. All voices, all souls; she couldn't escape, and with no way to stop this torment... something awakened within her. The moon turned red; she escaped the tree, took her revenge on the thugs and kids without hesitation, and began destroying the entire village in an event so massive it made world news. Erma was out of control; nothing could be done to stop her. Until Sam and Emiko came for their daughter and spoke to her, their voices piercing through the madness of it all, bringing Erma back to normal with nothing but her parents' love.
After that, Erma and her family returned to the United States, but not before saying goodbye to their family. Mitsu and Momo even apologized to Erma for how they had treated her the whole time, and the three of them made up like the cousins they are. Everyone went back home and everything... didn’t go back to normal. Erma still had memories of all the chaos she had caused and now had nightmares and PTSD from the whole situation, but despite that, she still had her friends and family, who, even though they couldn't fully understand what Erma was going through, were still there for her, helping her as she had always helped others.
What awaits Erma in the future? It's hard to say. Perhaps she'll be the cause of the end of the world, or Osamu will try to persuade her to take his throne, or someone will be preparing to take revenge on her, or the Feds will go after her, or she'll learn more about her incredible powers—who can say? What is certain is that Erma won't be alone. She's accompanied by her parents, her pet, her friends, and even the rest of her family. Because this little ghost girl is proof that something terrifying can be adorable, that there's a bright side to the dark side, and that the most powerful weapon against fear is love.
Experience & Skill
Chikn Nuggit
Chikn Nuggit is an immortal demigod, he is naturally very old, having lived from millions to thousands of years old. Unfortunately, that wouldn't give Chikn much experience because he doesn't remember anything about his past before meeting his friends. But that doesn't matter, because since Chikn met his friends, he's experienced so many things with them, like… huh, smell flowers, do exercise, release a couple of lobsters to freedom, conduct a couple of interviews, and one time he worked as a sheep herder, a judge, and something related to frogs.
Okay, admirably, Chikn hasn't done much besides spend time with his friends and play games, but that doesn't mean he should be underestimated. He still has a great list of incredible skills, such as dancing, driving, do ASMR, cooking, and- alright, Chikn isn’t the biggest skillest person ever, but if something he knows how to do, is being a shoulder to lean on, if you have a problem or need to hear something good, Chikn will be there to tell you what you need to hear, but despite that, he is still capable of fighting for you and his friends if something bad happens to them. As always, he loves you. In addition to that, Chikn also has a good understanding of his powers; he used them involuntarily before, but now he seems to have more control over them.
Also, he speaks Spanish.
Erma
Despite the fact that Erma is canonically 8 years old, this little ghost girl has been through a lot in her short life. From fighting video game enemies and a giant blob inside the 'Labyrinth' game, discovering a whole civilization of rats under her school where she had to defend herself from an army of rats, dealing with a possessed puppet, ‘‘playing’’ Whac-A-Mole with a bunch of zombies rising from their graves, and then there was her trip to Japan where she did everything from fighting against Yōkai thugs to almost destroying the entire village.
Despite not having any formal training, Erma has shown herself to be a formidable fighter, with her fighting style mainly revolving around using either her hair as a weapon, her telekinesis, or the ability to phase through walls. This can also be added to her surprising intelligence. Although Erma isn't a genius, she's creative with increible cognitive skills which allows her to figure things out quite quickly, from the mystery of the mice at her school to how to beat the Labyrinth game to solving a maze in the forest with only small clues that can easily go unnoticed to solving a Rubik's Cube in seconds; she knows how to act in new situations that requires quick thinking. This is combined with her other talents, such as painting, building sandcastles and snowmen, dancing, and… killing and skinning other creatures without problem or remorse. Jesus Christ, Erma.
But if there's one thing Erma knows how to do more than anything else, it's scare people. Although she's a fan of Warrior Unicorn Princess, one of her greatest loves is horror and everything related to it. The experiences with Erma are so scary that they are comparable to scary stories. Sometimes it's intentional, while other times it's just a side effect of her playing around and having fun. It's safe to say she's explored and used her powers to their full potential when scaring people or simply being her creepy self.

Chikn Nuggit
Box of Nuggets
The Nuggets box that started it all. Chikn has been seen in this box multiple times doing various cute things, although it's just a normal Nuggets box, it has a couple of things to highlight such as having a variation with spicy nuggets and being able to function as a car.
Phone
Chikn simply has a phone; he can use it to check the time, watch videos, and listen to music, just like any normal phone.
Car
Chikn has been shown posing in a car multiple times; they are different cars, but still.
Sharp Candy Cane
Chikn has a candy cane... which he made extra sharp... surely for nothing serious.
Genie Lamp
It was once shown that Chikn has a lamp that can grant wishes. Although we don't know the lamp's limitations, we do know that Chikn used it to wish for a frog, and a BIGGER frog.
Erma
Magic Book
Erma has often been shown in possession of a magic book (although these could be different magic books each, but since there is no proof we will assume they are the same book).
With it, Erma has been shown to do a lot of different dark magic spells, from turning her and her friends invisible, turn a TV Sentient, throw ghosts upright, throw away dead as dust, and even bring to life a bunch of lifeless, dead parts into a new being.
Sentient Toy Box.
She has a sentient toy box in her room, which Erma has full control of so that it doesn't attack her and can put things inside of it.
Warrior Unicorn Princess Merchandise
As a big WUP fan (Warrior Unicorn Princess), she has a massive collection of merchandise of the series.
Apples
Just regular Apples she gave to her teachers as the good student she is. Except two of them that they’re alive.
Knife
Erma has shown on multiple occasions to have a knife that she uses to... carve pumpkins. Yep, that's all.
Voodoo Doll of Connor.
This is a Voodoo doll that Erma has that looks like her boyfriend Connor. Anyone with this little doll can make the real Connor do anything against his will, but it can also make him feel things like warmth in the middle of winter (how cute).

In ''Erma: The Game,'' Erma possesses a zipper that can be opened from thin air to reveal some kind of pocket dimension that she uses to store all the things she collects in the game. These things include:

Although it seems that Erma can only use this pocket dimension exclusively to store things, six different objects to be more exact, Erma can use her creativity and craftsmanship to turn all these random things into new things. Like taking the ball of wool and the fan blades to give a kind of propulsor to the broken broom, or combining the biting fish, dress and seaweed to make bait for a sea monster, or using the Chalk, Flint and steel, WUP lunchbox and Salt to make a ritual and turn the lunchbox into something that screams infernal screams.

Chikn Nuggit
DemiGod of Chaos Physiology
Although Chikn might seem like your typical dog at first glance, that is far from the truth. As the mortal form of the demigod of chaos, Chikn possesses strength, speed, and durability superior to that of the common mortal. He has enhanced senses so finely tuned that he can taste the substances, vitamins, and even the percentages of what's in his food, and an accelerated development that allows him to train for just a few days and achieve a bodybuilder's physique.
Another thing to note is that it has an enormous lifespan, capable of living from millions of years up to thousands upon thousands of years. Although there is no confirmation that this immortality is equivalent to being unable to die by other methods.
But Chikn has a lot of things that separate him from… literally anybody alive. Like the fact that his blood is made of barbecue sauce, his brain has sentience in of itself, and it has fake memories of his non-existent past. wait what?
Reality Warping
This is referred to as "Chaos Abilities," as the Demigod of Chaos, Chikn Nuggit is an embodiment of said element, is another part of his existence. This allows him to perform lots of unexpected things. This also allows Chikn to do a lot of things that will be listed below, but first we need to point out some of Chikn's powers.
It is explained that Chikn's reality warping powers were affecting everyone else, including giving them some powers, the characters affected begin to learn that every ability they perform is just Chikn's powers rubbing off on them, and when they do, they refer to these abilities as 'chaos powers.' This is a result of his chaotic aura allowing anyone to do whatever they want in the environment he’s in, however the exact distribution of the chaotic powers is a bit unknown. So any kind of ability that the other characters have demonstrated, should be something that Chikn should also be able to do without any problem.
Shapeshifting / Transformation
Chkin's body is a canvas upon which his imagination runs wild. He can change and turn into ANYTHING. Among the anything that Chikn can be; he can turn into an egg, a wall, a potato, a pizza, a worm, a cat, cerebus, a puppet, a human, a crystal orb, and even the planet.
Even with standard Chikn, he can change parts of his normal body in various ways. He can change his body and eye color, turn his eyes in contact lenses, increase his muscle mass and give himself buff arms, grew a new arm, turn big, turn small, make his ears long, use them as an arm, give himself the body of a body builder, he can stretch his neck, paw, torso, made the outer layer of his body transparent, change his face, bend his neck and turn around at around 360 degrees or an unnatural angle, "Unanimated" himself, turning himself into the storyboard drawings of himself, make his face microscopic, gave himself human-like legs, and changed his body into an 3D, 8-Bit, Smiling Friends, demonic, macabre, balloon, human, buff, cat, Dragon Ball, tiny, rubberhose, amateur, abstract, skeleton designs, among various other things, in mere milliseconds.
Non-Physical Interaction
Chikn has proven to be able to touch things that would not usually be touchable. He is able to trap and throw objects to hurt ghosts, can sit, stand, grab and eat clouds, and allow Cofi to hold a soul in her hand. With other characters like Sody being able to also sit in clouds.
Flight
Whenever his tail is touched, Chikn can fly using his floppy ears, as a pair of wings or as a helicopter. But if he wants, Chikn can simply hover in the air or freely float and fly.
Teleportation
Duplication
Just like with Sody Pop, Chikn can create multiple copies of itself. Like in case something happens to his body, he can create a new him.
Telepathy
Biological Manipulation
Chikn has not only changed himself physically, but also those around him. In addition to giving his friends powers and crazy abilities, he has also done things like giving wings to a frog, swapping species with Chee, turning her head hollow, making her small, making the bees giant, making Cheezborger's pickle on her hat a vital part of her survival, took Sody Pop’s nose away, put soup inside his head and turn the skull into a plastic-like toy, got turned into a basketball, and making so the rest of his friends have the same face as him, and gave Sody’s drawing the ability of making Cofi into the drawing he made.
He can even affect Bezel's body into having flesh and turn him into a bear, who is the all-powerful Doomsday Clock who does not have a normal body like everyone else.
Creation
Chikn can not only change the world around him, but can also create new things from scratch. From a Clown and Emo costume for himself, to candy, a giant cheeseburger, chicken nuggets and barbecue sauce, a whole table and several pieces of food, and it allows his friends like Slushi to create a classroom out of nowhere. The truth is that Chikn can create literally anything he thinks of, including the scenery of the world depending on the mood or the holiday.
If that weren't enough, Chikn can also create life out of nothing, like when he made a little Chee to live inside Chee’s head, or bring to life a unicorn from the show he and Chee were watching on a TV.
Mind Control and Memory Manipulation
When Chikn felt sad about being excluded from his friends who were with other people, Bezel told him he could "fix everything" with his reality-warping powers. Chikn subconsciously makes it so Chee has her eyes as a grayish color and a monotone voice, with Chee then mentioning that she wants to play with Chikn, make it so she does what he wants her to do.
This isn't even the first time Chikn has unconsciously messed up the minds of his friends. Characters like Chee have taken it for granted that they have powers just like Chikn, treating it as something normal for them. The reason for this is because their memories have been manipulated to make them believe that they have always had powers their entire lives, even affecting the people close to them like Sody's mom. And once they realize this, they are unable to remember when they first obtained these powers. Being near Chikn not only gives them powers, but also makes them believe they always had powers.
Dimensional Travel and Astro Projection
Characters like Fwench Fwy and Iscream have demonstrated the ability to travel between dimensions, and although Chikn wasn't the one who granted them their powers, it's not difficult to imagine that Chikn could do the same.
Especially since he has been seen in the real world somehow and travels to 'the next dimension' via astral projection by leaving his soul out of his body, which leaves his body as a lifeless husk.
Life Manipulation
Besides creating living things out of nothing, Chikn can also give life to inanimate objects and things, such as the fur he scratched off his body, the grime in his dirty dishes, people made out of sand, and a Sody Pop cookie.
Social Influencing
Chikn has an aura of terror so intense that is capable of scaring Iscream to the point of making them curl in fear, by just staring at them, and they are a character who sleeps with demons and loves horror.
Immersion
Chikn has been seen entering the phone-world, and then quickly left out of it through Cheezborger's smartphone screen.
He should also do the same things that Cofi does, and she has appeared and crawled out of a television screen, and just exists inside of a mirror.
Regeneration
Fourth Wall Awareness / Breaking
Before Chikn knew about his powers, he already knew that people were watching him. He can speak to the audience and hug the screen, booped the viewer, go through a wall to threaten to kill whoever was mean to the viewer, eat the viewer and kill them, knows when they’re doomscrolling, he can sell them stuff like channel memberships, and can read the comments made by the viewers.
Chikn also knows that he is a character in a web cartoon and of the world outside of it. He’s aware of the script and the cut episodes of the show, can see the animator’s pen, brings up he has a voice actor, knows about TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, and the public opinions that the fans have to the other characters.
Other characters have also shown the ability to break the fourth wall, such as Chee speaking to the audience, Fwench Fwy talking about the animator, and Hawt Saus having the ability to mess with screen borders.
Elemental / Weather Manipulation
Chikn has demonstrated the ability to control the elements by giving his friends fire and ice powers, or by making a literal lava floor and fire wall. But the greatest examples of Chikn's control over the elements are the weather itself, since Chikn is responsible for the wacky things that the weather in his world does, like making temperatures so cold they immediately flash-freeze anyone who steps foot outside, making it stormy or sunny instantly whatever he wants, and it is hinted that’s the reason why the backgrounds of the sky change color and shape.
Power Nullification
When Chikn went full demigod of chaos mode, he forcefully turned Bezel into a talking bear, but Bezel was unable to return to his original form until Chikn decided to return him back to normal.
This is interesting because Bezel has been established as a shapeshifter who can change shape whenever he wants. And maybe this is a stretch, but Bezel is also stated to have dominion over all of time, and despise that, at no point he attempts turning back time to before he was shapeshifted to undo it or before any of this mess started. This may indicate that in the same way that Chikn can give powers to his friends, he can also take away powers from people who he hasn't even given powers to.
Plot Manipulation
Although this is somewhat speculative and not shown in its fullest form like other abilities, it is something that should be considered, even if only a little, given the hints that exist.
Other Abilities
Wallcrawling: Characters like Sody Pop and Cofi can wall climb, pretty simple.
Telekinesis: He can move around objects such as clothing and a necklace telekinetically, he also gave Sody the ability to make small objects float in the air when presenting them.
Sleep Manipulation: Chikn made it so that Cheezborger and Sody Pop fell asleep as soon as she tackled him and he touched him with his ears.
Explosion Manipulation: Chikn is confirmed to be responsible for every time that Sody Pop has self-destructed and blown up before. With Chikn blewing himself up one time.
Technology Manipulation: Chikn was able to fool a speed control radar just by looking cute so that it wouldn't register his speed.
Pocket Reality Creation: When he got all Demigod of chaos, he put Fwench, Iscream, Slushi and Sody into a strange dimension where each one had her own property, although it seems that somehow they eventually escaped from these. This could also be related to The White Void that he created, being the opposite of a defined and tangible space, which could be a part of the world and change whatever his mood.
Energy Projection: Chikn can shoot beams of energy from his eyes.
Resistances
Hot Temperatures: We see him inside of Hawt Saus's fresh hot cup of coffee, where he doesn't seem hurt or burned from the intense heat. This is backed up by him being immune to Sody's's explosions, and just sitting around in a fire unaffected.
Cold Temperatures: He can withstand the cold temperatures of outer space, which was able to instantly freeze Chee in a block of ice, and survive after his brain literally froze.
Air Deprivation: Can breathe in outer space with no problem, which suffocates other characters.
Poison Manipulation: He can eat raw spotted red cap mushrooms with no problem despite how toxic they are, and various junk food, which contain literal chemicals such as toxic waste. He also isn’t affected by the cosmic radiation of space.
Transmutation: By the next episode, he had recovered from being turned into a literal chicken nugget, becoming wrinkly and aged from sleeping for 3 hours, and immediately returned to normal after being turned into an enamel pin.
Mind Manipulation: He wishes to care about dumb online arguments, but when Fwench Fwy granted that wish it didn’t work on him due to "growing stronger."
Fate Manipulation: There was a prophecy stating that Chikin is, or was, fated to warp the entire Earth is stated to be etched into the fabric of the universe itself. But he just called Armageddon off, something not even Onyn Ring, someone who studied the Dem-igod of Chaos his whole life, didn't even know one could do, and Chikn states that him doing so is because he is in control of chaos itself. So maybe he can control Fate in general.
Erma
Yōkai Physiology
There are a lot of Yōkai in mythology, but Erma and her mother appear to be an Onyrō, the typical Japanese ghost of a woman with white skin, white clothes and long black hair. Although there are many legends and stories of Onyrō, it is obvious that Erma and an Onyrō are not completely the same, because in this world a Yōkai family can be made up of a wide variety of different spirits and creatures, all with their own abilities and properties, things that Erma should not have, except for her mother Emiko since both are the same type of Yōkai. Even so, Erma is not 100% the same as her mother thanks to the human half given by her father Sam, and although it is not very obvious compared to her Yōkai part, it can still be detected in things like smell.
In this world Yōkai, including Erma and Emiko, can age like a normal human, going from being babies, to children, to teenagers, to adults, all at the same rate as a human. But that's the only thing they have in common with humans, because in addition to a long list of powers, they can be summoned with a Bloody Mary-style ritual of saying their name in front of a mirror three times with fire and darkness, they’re super flexible, their teeth rot worse than a humans (and when they clean them, this happens), despite that, their teeth are still very strong, their heartbeats are in a strange language, and there is a whole hell inside their heads. You know, her being an ordinary girl and all that.

Despite her cute appearance, Erma is ultimately a creature of the night, and because of this she can manipulate and use shadows in various ways. She’s able to turn into a tangible shadow, make her shadow different from the rest of her body, summon shadowy hands to pull people somewhere, spawn a portal to someone using it, slither around in a shadowy puddle that is able to bring other people with her. And in her Blood Moon form, Erma can engulf surrounding people into a dark void with her powers, with that void of shadows constantly expanding, capturing more people.
Other people like her mother, grandmother and her grandfather can do stuff like make a giant pool of it and bring tentacles and people through it, materialize out of someone else’s shadow, and generate a massive shadow that even went over the castle.

Although some of these examples could be due to Erma's telekinesis, she has shown control over elements directly or indirectly, such as;
Fire: She and Emiko are able to make things on fire. With Erma setting a ball on fire twice. She can also be summoned through a campfire and cause the flames of said campfire to rise.
Water: She has shown the power to move water, from small stored amounts to turning lakes around her into large waves; she can even stop rain from hitting the ground. This also applies to other forms of water, such as when she moved snow and created a massive snow avalanche.
Wind: She can blow powerful gusts of wind strong enough to stagger and blow away people and rip apart board planks like they were nothing and move some tree leaves.
Plants: She can control a tree to trap people with its branches.
Electricity: While not done by herself, Erma's Mother Emiko was able to dance on power lines and was able to spark electricity around her. Although she herself caused some lights to flicker and break.
Technology Manipulation
Being a modern day ghost, Erma can be called a ghost in the machine that can manipulate modern technology, from modifying a TV to scare her babysitter Felicia to store things inside that TV like books to go into an email just to scare her father. In fact, she can also get into and travel through different types of electronics that should not be connected to each other, not only TVs, but also computers, portable consoles, tablets, mobile phones, and even electronic signs.

Wallcrawling: She can wall climb, pretty simple.
Invisibility: Another classic ghost ability, although in this case, Erma needs to spray a special dust to turn her invisible and it only lasts for a specific short time.
Mirror Manipulation: Manipulated a Mirror in an attempt to scare her babysitter Felicia and her Mother can outright appear in a mirror as well.
Portal Creation: While we don’t see Erma do this herself, her mother was able to do it. Emiko was able to make a shadowy portal and bring in her tentacle hair and Sam and Yori with her.
Spatial Manipulation: In her Blood Moon form, she created a deep dark void and engulfed a group of kids in it, which pulled people into it. And said void contains giant horrific monsters in it.
Wall/Painting Manipulation: Turned the faces on a wall painting into scary faces.
Picture Manipulation: Due to Erma and Emiko's status as Yōkai, any picture taken of them distorts the picture, turning their faces into giant screaming faces or shadowy figures.

Cold Temperatures: Survived in the cold and swam in cold water and was visibly unaffected by it.

When Chikn eats a chicken nugget with hot sauce, he transforms into Spicy Nuggit. Which supposedly gives him fire powers and makes him edgier, possibly, I don't know.
DemiGod of Chaos Form
After being broken by Bezel and gradually doubting himself, Chikn got loose and finally became the complete demigod of chaos. Despite that, there was still a little bit of the old Chikn there, trying to return from all this madness, but it wasn't until Chee had a talk with him that he was finally able to control this form; instead of fighting against his chaotic side, he accepted it as part of who he is. This could be considered Chikn's true form; in this form, Chikn was passively making existence become corrupt and destroying the reality around him, distorting it in several incredibly strange ways.
Now Chikn has full control of all his chaos powers after all that experience, with his demigod of chaos form becoming a form that he can change into whenever he wants, like Fwench Fwy & Iscream.

When Erma gets trapped in The Yubokko by the Yokai Thugs she gets pressured and assaulted by the spirits of dead people inside the tree. She quickly snapped and became her Blood Moon Form, named that because when she entered that form, she turned the moon red.
This form not only did it increase many of her powers and give her new ones she had never demonstrated before, but it was so strong it destroyed the tree, the talisman, and the chains restraining her which could restrain even a mountain destroying dragon. In this form, Erma has no control over her actions, destroying everything around her almost involuntarily, only being stopped by the sound of her mother's and father's voices.
Not only did she cause such great destruction in the village that it impressed her grandfather Osamu and made him see her as ready to take his throne, but she also made international news in the human world and even the monster world, attracting the attention of various people of interest, from the government to Dracula.

The Immortals
The immortals are beings from other realms, considered legends. Despite some being concepts, they still take physical forms to exist in the same realm as Chikn. Unlike the rest of the cast, they already possess powers not granted by Chikn, but not only do we know that Bezel is more powerful than Icescream and Fwench Fwy, but Chikn is directly more powerful than him, and it took the combined power of the three immortals to be able to seal Chikn. So, he should scale with them.

The Yureimoto Family
The Yureimoto family is one of the most important families in Japan, practically royalty. Not only is Erma part of this family, not only has she been seen on par with her own mother and other family members, but her grandfather, Osamu Yureimoto, the powerful daitengu and patriarch whom everyone fears, was impressed by the destruction Erma caused and said that one day she would take his throne, so Erma should scale to all of them.

On her journey to Japan, Erma encountered several Yōkai, including the gang of Yōkai thugs of Kiko, Toru, and Mei. These three had a reputation as very powerful and feared Yōkai in the area, yet Erma was able to defeat them in their first confrontation. This, combined with her dominance over them even more in her Blood Moon form, including the rest of the village's population, should scale Erma to them and the other Yōkai there.

The Night Detective is a mysterious supernatural detective observing Erma in order to prevent the end of the world. Erma should reasonably scale to him, and to the rest of monsters of her universe sense the Night Detective fight some of them quite regularly.
Weaknesses
Chikn Nuggit
Chikn Nuggit may be the all-powerful demigod of chaos, but even with that, he still has some weaknesses. For starters, although Chikn has been vocal about being able to fight against others to protect his friends, most of the time Chikn is more peaceful and compassionate; if there were a conflict, he would try to resolve it in the most humane way possible and would most likely only resort to violence as a last resort.
And for most of the series, Chikn didn't know how to control his powers; he didn't even know he had powers at all. This is especially the case for some of Chikn's most powerful abilities. And even though later, when Chikn learned about his powers and gained full control of them, not much has changed, and he doesn't use them more than he used to, since he is afraid that if he depends on his powers too much, he would become weak. But his biggest weakness in a fight is that... Chikn has absolutely no fighting experience. Chikn has spent most of his life in a peaceful state where he had no need to defend himself against anything. Even when Armageddon began, Chikn was more powerful than everyone else around him, and the only way he was taking down was by catching him while he was distracted and talking him down.
Erma
Erma is more impressive than one might think, but that doesn't mean she has no weaknesses. For starters, even though she has so many powers and has accomplished so much, she is still a kid. Although she has fought and even killed before, she usually doesn't like to directly hurt people unless she knows they’re bad, they hurt or anger her first, or they’re mean with one of her friends. Furthermore, while she loves horror and sees macabre things as normal, she still has this strange sense of innocence where things like the trip to Japan and what she did there affected her to the point of giving her PTSD, and although her mental health improved thanks to her friends and family, this shows that very big and traumatic things can still affect her.
On a related note, her Blood Moon Form isn't a form she can just transform into at will; she had to hear the voices of millions of dead souls suffering around her. So, if she wanted to use her full power and wield some of her most potent abilities, she would have to endure something just as terrible or even worse.
Also, Erma has an irrational fear of Santa Claus. He may be the thing she fears the most.
Before the Verdict
How Powerful is Chikn Nuggit again?
Now, Chikn Nuggit is incredibly powerful; there's no doubt about that, but the limit of that power—that's where there are a couple of doubts. First, we have Bezel referencing Chikn causing "the end of the world." Although this might seem to refer to the planet, it appears that the use of the word "world" refers more to the universe. This is because when Iscream talks about Chikn destroying the world, they propose to save themselves by getting a pocket dimension, and then after stopping Armageddon, they refer to it as "saving the universe."
So at his maximum, Chikn Nuggit is a triple universal threat, end of story, right?
Yeah, after that whole arc was over we met a new character called Onyn Ring, an investigator of the Demigod of Chaos, who has studied everything possible about him in legends and books, learning all he can, so he knows what he's talking about. And when he arrives, it's revealed that Armageddon, the super-event that many characters referenced as destroying the universe or many universes, only occurred in a small area of the world and didn't affect the rest of the world.
This might at first glance seem contradictory to everything seen previously, but we must also remember that Onyn Ring referred to Chikn as "being full of potential." Everything they've said about Chikn isn't wrong, but it's not immediate either. Chikn was only affecting a small part of the world during most of the show and the start of Armageddon, and if he weren't stopped, he was going to destroy and affect not only the universe but others.
Chikn can't destroy multiple universes right away; he needs time for doing that. He can reach multiversal levels of power. But it takes time to do so. So the higher ends for Chikn are there, and they’re still possible, but they require context from the story's narrative. To be sure, the blog will only judge Chikn based on the direct feats he has done or that he should scale. And believe us, that doesn’t change the debate whatsoever.
What’s the deal with the crossover scaling?
Alright, this section focuses mainly on Erma, but we also have to mention a couple of things about Chikn Nuggit and crossovers. So first things first, iscream appears in several The Land of Boggs videos, which also connects them to Ultimate Guy Pals and Good Advice Cupcake, one time Cuppy even appeared on the Chikn Nuggit channel to clarify that she's not Chikn Nuggit, despite having the same voice actor. While you could argue that Chikn should scale to all these channels, the crossovers don't do much besides the characters appearing and interacting, and while there are MANY crazy feats of Land of Boggs that we could put here, Chikn doesn't necessarily need to scale to them, and they don't really change the debate at all.
But with Erma, there are more things that need clarifying. The thing about Erma's world is that all the monsters from all mythologies, legends, and horror stories exist, including well-known characters like Dracula or Frankenstein's Monster. That's normal in these kinds of "all monsters are real" worlds, especially when those characters are in the public domain and there may be different versions of them unconnected to other versions.
However, it gets wonky when dealing with stuff like 13 days of Ermaween where, although sometimes it's Erma wearing a cute costume, the majority of the time it's Erma interacting directly with monsters that originate from movies like Art the Clown and Aunt Gladys from Weapons, alien species such as the Xenomorphs and the Predators, video games like Doom or Spoofy’s Jump Scare Mansion, indie animation like Hazbin Hotel and the Amazing Digital Circus, other comic strip characters, cereal mascots, and a BIG etc.
We could easily say that this series of color single-panel comics are simply non-canon and is just Brandon Santiago having fun, since obviously these characters cannot actually exist in the universe without contradicting things from the worlds represented, and these comics have Erma use abilities that she has never used in the other comics, such as growing to a large size or… having a Gundam Suit.
It's important to remember that at the end of the day, Erma is a character Santiago uses for fun, so in addition to story-based comics, he also draws things for fun or on commission, like Emiko killing Conquest and Thragg, Erma defeating Sephiroth and fighting The Batter from Off, or having her play real life Mario Kart with the blue shell. And if you want some kind of in-universe explanation for this, Brandon Santiago made a fanart of him and Erma going to see the Super Mario Galaxy Movie and in a subsequent post he said it was a Looney Tunes off-camera or Muppets backstage situation, so there you go.
However, it's one thing to say that those comics are clearly not canon, but there are the normal Erma comics that feature things like Erma killing Pennywise, her making prank calls with Ghostface, her having the lament configuration from Hellraiser and even calling Pinhead, and in Spirit's Bloom, a serious and 100% canon story of how Erma was born, among all the creatures that react to the birth of Erma, two of them are Godzilla and Freddy Krueger. These instants are not just cute little fanarts, they are official Erma comics, making them canon. Even if Erma doesn't directly meet them or directly interact with them, Erma still should scale to them for the same reason we use to scale her with other monsters and beings in her universe like her grandfather seeing potential in her to take his throne or the night detective’s job, even if she hasn't interacted with them.
But, here’s the thing; while characters like Pennywise, Pinhead, Godzilla and Freddy Krueger look just like the original characters, that doesn’t automatically mean they’re the exact characters from the movies or they have accomplished the same feats from the source material. Brandon doesn’t own them, they’re just here for a single comic and they never appear again, in the case of Godzilla and Freddy, in the comic where they appear their faces are covered because you can't sell something to the public with copyrighted characters. These are likely just alternative universe counterparts that exist in the universe of Erma. So, simply put, Erma doesn't scale to any monster from other franchises. Maybe I over-explained, but I wanted to make sure I got this right.
What about Brandon Santiago's statements?
Now, you may have noticed that I've used some quotes from interviews or other video clips of Kyra Kupetsky, the creator of Chicken Nuggets, but I haven't done the same with Brandon Santiago, the creator of Erma. The reason for that is because... unlike Kyra, Brandon has a very different opinion from the VS community; in fact, he has an opinion on everything.
He's seen people like Robert Kirkman saying stuff like that Omni-Man can defeat Superman, and that's why he has a very funny idea of VS and power scaling, and since HE is the creator of these characters, he can say whatever he wants. Things like Erma being faster than Lightning McQueen, and despite their crossover being brief and without much interaction, she's on par with Chloe, who can dodge lasers, be faster than Sonic and Shadow, and can beat Silver in a fight.
Now, it's obvious why I won't use these things for Erma. Unlike other character creators who say these kinds of things out of ignorance, confusion, or simply to show off how strong their characters are, Santiago says it as a joke; he only says these things because he finds them funny. But, unlike random drawings and posts, Santiago takes his Erma stories seriously enough, so it's safer to take those as gospel rather than these statements and random social media drawings. Furthermore, it seems that Santiago isn't against the idea of Erma being in Death Battle, so her being in a VS blog like this one and ignoring his statements shouldn't be a problem for him, theoretically.

Okay, at first glance these two don't seem to have anything crazy in terms of stats, but looking into their series in detail, we'll find some crazy numbers. Let's start with Speed.
Let's start with Erma. Thanks to feats like throwing a cart in the air, being able to vanish from sight, and shooting a piece of her hair from far away, we know that Erma's movement and reaction speed is between 66.7 m/s and 2000 m/s. And while that's already impressive, those are just low-level figures.
Not only could she be compared to a dragon that can breathe lightning and characters who have dodged it, already granting her sub-relativistic speeds, but she herself flew from the North Pole to her home in one night. Sure, we don't know exactly where Blairwood is or the exact time it took her to get there, but something more quantifiable is when she outran Santa Claus, with him admitting that it took all his magic to keep up with Erma. Considering Santa's workload and the fact that it takes him a whole night to do it, that would put him, and consequently Erma, at 4% the speed of light.
That's impressive, no doubt. Now we see with Chikn, whose lowest calculable speed feat is… flying into space in seconds, which is equal to 111239451946 m/s. Which is lower than the soda that rammed Chee into the sky at 3257328.00 m/s, but it is higher than Fwench Fwy grabbing the sun from the sky at 1000000000000 m/s^2. And yet, none of this is more impressive than the time a big explosion sent Chikn flying into outer space at 1.577×10¹³ times Faster Than Light.
So… Comparing the highest calc for Erma with the lowest calc for Chikn, Chikn would be 1.1004028200,000,000,000 times faster than Erma. But using Chikn’s biggest possible calculable speed feat with Erma’s, Chikn would be… 1.1123945200,000,000,000 times faster than Erma.
Not as big a difference as one might expect, but let's be honest, Chikn takes Speed no matter what angle you look at it from.
Okay, maybe Chikn has the advantage in speed, but Power is probably going to be a different story.
Despite being a small child, Erma has demonstrated several impressive feats of power; even when she was a baby, she was able to destroy an entire apartment by creating an explosion of 0.008061422 tons of TNT, and as she grew up, she continued doing crazy things like splitting a cloud by throwing a baseball (7.43 tons of TNT) or creating an entire avalanche by herself (171974.46 tons of TNT). And that's without mentioning her Blood Moon Form, which increases her power to a level that puts her on par with other Yōkai who can kill an entire town on their own, ancient Yōkai who could topple mountains and shape the forest; even she herself could wrap half the old Yōkai town with her hair, leaving everything destroyed after it happened, leaving her at 1.9228582e+18 Joules.
Now with Chikn, and although Chikn has many arguments for universal or low multiversal feats, for this section we will only take physical feats from him, things that are calculable. That includes his most basic feats like playing tug of war with Cofi, passing through walls, and extending his neck so high and so fast that it creates an immense gravitational potential energy of 2.3515035e+21 joules. Wait what?
Yeah, that feat alone would make Chikn 2.34958064000000000000000000000.0 times stronger than Erma. And that's not even Chikn's only feat; he can also transform into the planet and become even bigger than it, and he should be superior to Fwench Fwy, who can grab the sun from the sky at 1.9885*10^42 newtons, making the gap of power even bigger.
But wait, Erma has one last feat, the time a witch in her game landed on the moon so violently that it created an explosion that could be seen from Earth. Although there are many questionable aspects to this feat, such as whether Erma should have reached that level anyway or if the Witch even survived that explosion, it's the best Erma has. So, taking that into account, the maximum power we can assign to Erma would be 6.9999612e+13 tons of TNT or 2.929e+23 Joules. Which would make her 2.9054849600000000000000000000000.0 times stronger than Chikn… 's lowest feat.
Yes, Erma only has the advantage if we put the best feat of her verse against Chikn's not-so-impressive feat. If we compare the best feats of both verses, this being the previous feat and the time Chikn survived his birth's energy, which caused a gigantic flash of light and explosion visible from another galaxy at 37.63063745047524 Yottafoe, the gap in power would be of 1.57400000000000000000000000000000000000.0 in favor on Chikn Nuggit.
And remember, this is without taking into account all of Chikn's universal and multiversal arguments, this is only with calculable things. There's no other way to put it, even if we highball Erma and lowball Chikn, the demigod of chaos still possessed the advantage in power, BY A LOT.
So, yeah, Chikn Nuggit takes power, no problem.
Tertiary Factors
Since Chikn stomps so much in all stats, one would think he would take the advantage in other categories like Experience as easy, but the truth is something more interesting.
Chikn has lived longer than Erma, but he remembers virtually nothing of those millions of years of existence, and before Bezel entered the scene, Chikn lived in a state of inaction where the most things he did were playing with his friend, dancing, smelling flowers, exercising, releasing a couple of lobsters to freedom, having some random jobs, and making a couple of interviews. Even after all that Armageddon stuff happened, the most interesting thing Chikn has done is be part of a journey with Onyn Ring that hasn't even ended yet.
Meanwhile, despite her young age, Erma has done so much, from discovering a whole civilization of rats under her school, entering inside a video game to save her friends, dealing with a possessed puppet, and ‘‘playing’’ Whac-A-Mole with a bunch of zombies rising from their graves, and then there was her trip to Japan where she did everything from fighting against Yōkai thugs to almost destroying the entire village.
Sure, Chikn went through a similar experience to the Blood Moon thing, and yes, it lasted longer, but when it comes to the number of problems that have been thrown at them in life and how many they have had to solve, Erma takes this category without a problem.
In contrast, Erma has had MANY more opportunities to show intelligence in various ways, from figuring
Chikn has used his powers unconsciously for a long time; it was only recently that he began to use them voluntarily, in contrast to Erma who has complete control over her powers and uses them all the time in her daily life.
Erma has fought before. Seriously, despite all the power Chikn has, he has NEVER been in a scenario where he has had to fight before, either because he was in a peaceful place where there was no need or because he was more powerful than the others who couldn't do anything against him.
Abilities
Now, looking at everything they both have in the powers department, surprisingly they both have many abilities in common; they can fly, climb walls, modify their bodies, shapeshift, use telekinesis, teleport, give life to things, immersion, regenerate, use mind control, manipulate the elements, manipulate technology, and use different ways of making the other scared just by looking at them. But despite that, there are moments when one has shown to use the other's abilities in different ways, such as Erma, who has shown to have to use her elemental control, manipulation of technology, immersion, telekinesis, and even provoke fear in another, more effectively and with more examples than the times Chikn and his friends have done so. Furthermore, Erma has shown resistance to some of Chikn's abilities, such as his power nullification, due to overcoming the talismans that nullified the powers of a dragon and mind control by not being affected by the Labyrinth Game, which mind-controlled people. And let's not forget some of the powers that Erma has that Chikn doesn't, such as her hair manipulation and the multiple ways she uses it, her shadow manipulation and the multiple ways she uses it, decay stuff, etc. Erma has SO much going for her. But Chikn does as well… in fact, even more. First, just as Erma has displayed some powers that Chikn shares more often than others, so has Chikn, except with more powers. He has shown the ability to change his body and shapeshift in multiple other ways, his regeneration is more impressive than anything Erma has recovered from, change someone to a more advanced biological level than she has done, and although Erma's elemental control is better than what Chikn has shown, he compensates for that by directly manipulating the weather.

Conclusion
To say this was a difficult debate would be a lie. Erma had some advantages, but overall, Chikn's power and abilities gave him everything he needed to win. If they both had the same stats and abilities, Erma's skill would be enough to beat him, but when the gap is this big, you have to accept the reality of the obvious winner.
Erma didn't have a ghost of a chance in this fight, but even with that she wouldn't back down because she's no Chikn.

THE MU
The MU in general is pretty simple. Energetic Kind non-humanoid characters who live a slice of life despite their immense power and being related to a powerful prophecy that could affect the world would still want to live a normal life with their friends and family. A major part of their characters is their empathy and seeking to help anyone they come across no matter what even people who attacked them. However during a major event they would unlock a new dangerous world threatening the planet and their mental state if not for their friends and family coming in clutch and bringing them back to reality and saving the world. They suffered major trauma from it but were able to live with their trauma still seeking to live a normal life and be with their friends and family.
THE BLOG
At first me and Blue struggled, mainly because of me due to my intense procrastination and fear of asking for help. It was hard at first since this was basically my first blog I've ever done. But Blue was patient and kind and he was able to help through everything. I've had nothing but thanks and support for Bluegatito. The Blog was pretty easy when I locked in and Blue helped me out. We found every feat and statement we can. Found feats from their allies and enemies. Even found some feats from The New Erma Book and Game. And even had a person help out with our calcs. And now after a year the Blog is finally done!
