BBB Prediction Blog: Jerry Mouse VS Tweety Bird

“Predators never expect to be hunted.”

 - Kit Rose

Jerry Mouse, the clever and playful brown mouse part of the famous frenemy duo of Tom & Jerry.

Tweety Bird, the sweet and innocent yellow canary of the Looney Tunes and the #1 prey of Sylvester.

In the animal kingdom there is a universal rule that all animals have to obey, eat or be eaten. Although over time some animals have been domesticated and now have owners to feed them, a new type of natural domestic order has also been created, where stray dogs, cats, various pests, and creatures such as pigeons have to survive in the concrete jungles, although not at the same level as what is seen in actual jungles. But when you put animation into the mix, simple chases between cats and small creatures like mice or birds become a thousand times more violent than what one sees in nature.

These two little guys have to deal with an annoying mean cat practically every day of their lives, and although they are not the strongest (most of the time), they always manage to come out on top thanks to their quick thinking, intelligence to ward off the predatory cats, and enough stamina to be part of some good chases. People usually wonder what would happen if they fought alongside their feline companions, but what would happen if they fought 1v1 with each other?

Here we have a Warner Bros. battle between their two most iconic little critters, with one of them finally being caught for good. Will Jerry give Sylvester a canary on a silver platter, or will Tweety put Tom out of a job? There's only one way to find out, by taking a look at their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win… a DEATH BATTLE!

Before We Start…

For this blog, I'm going to go into the massive history of these characters, focusing mainly on all the animated incarnations, the original shorts, movies, TV shows, and even the direct-to-DVD movies, but with other sources such as video games, comics, commercials, TV Bumpers, and anything official made for these two also being included.

However, I'm not going to use things like Tom and Jerry: Chase, Looney Tunes World of Mayhem or Loonatics Unleashed, the first two because due to their nature as mobile games they give both crazy scaling that does not represent them as in their original sources, and the latter because the version of Tweety in that show and all the other characters are too different from the Looney Tunes characters that we all know and are more consistent. Also the show sucks.

Massive credit to Extinction Event: Tom Character Blog and Wile E. Coyote: Coyote vs The versus community for providing many abilities, feats, and scaling for Jerry and Tweety. Although I got a lot of information from here, believe me, I did a lot of research myself. I really did…

But since there are many things for both and it is difficult to access many of them, there are several pieces of media and things in them that I could not get and will not be on the blog; like the Mecha Suit that Jerry has in ''Computer Mouse'' Book, or some power-up from some game that Tweety has appeared in.

I also want to thank Keith LeRacc for giving me some calcs for some feats, Fixed Fun for providing some hard to get footed for some parts, and The Smashor for writing tips.

With all that out of the way, let's get started with the blog.

Background

Jerry Mouse

"Well, there was nothing I wanted to say that I thought you'd understand, and there still isn't!"

Created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbara and debuting in the short Puss Gets the Boot, Gerald Jinx "Jerry" Mouse, Sr. is a house mouse who is playful, mischievous, witty, somewhat innocent, and most of the time is just looking to have fun, relax, or eat all the cheese he can find. He has a big family, from his nephew Nibbles (or Tuffy, whatever his name is), his Uncles Pecos and Harry, Cousins Muscles, Slowpoke Antonio, and Larry, etc. He also has several friends like Quacker, Spike Bulldog, and even a Lion. But among all of Jerry's acquaintances, the one with whom he has the most interesting relationship is undoubtedly Thomas Jasper "Tom" Cat, Sr.

To say that Tom and Jerry have a complicated relationship would be a huge understatement, not only do they both seem to know each other for their entire lives, but in every incarnation of Tom and Jerry in existence they are always in an eternal battle with each other. The reason for that varies, sometimes Tom is a domestic cat defending his house from Jerry who invades it, other times they are both stray animals that compete with each other to survive the streets, and even sometimes Jerry is a pet mouse with the same owner as Tom, giving them a more sibling rivalry.

Although Tom begins many of the conflicts between the two with him wanting to win something at all costs, try to eat or capture one of Jerry's friends, or simply annoying Jerry for fun, Jerry also starts many of the conflicts such as taking things from Tom that don't belong to him, enjoying his life too much without thinking about others, or simply annoying Tom for fun. Like I said, their relationship is complicated. But despite always chasing and hurting each other, they also seem to care about each other, feeling bad about each other and even defending each other when someone other than themselves hurts the other.

Despite their famous rivalry, there have been many occasions in which Tom and Jerry have put their differences aside and worked hard to accomplish a common goal or defeat a greater threat, sometimes being an alliance of convenience, other times they are forced to work together. Whatever the case, both have shown that although they are individually formidable, working together they are unbeatable, from helping many children, to solving various mysteries, to even saving the planet from an alien invasion.

Whenever there is a Cat, there will always be a Mouse. Tom and Jerry have been around for several decades and will continue to exist no matter what, and even if they hate each other without a doubt, they love to hate each other, especially the little mouse Jerry, who will always run, always fight, and always make hilarious slapstick comedy so he can live another day to hear Tom's screams of pain as many times as he can.

Tweety Bird

"I tawt I taw a puddy tat. I did! I did! I did taw a puddy tat!"

Created in 1942 by Bob Clampett and perfected by Friz Freleng, debuting in the short A Tale of Two Kitties, Tweety Orson "Pie" Bird is a tender, sweet and cute little canary who has nevertheless shown himself capable of defending himself since he hatched from the egg. He is very innocent, makes new friends easily, and has a sense of heroism that makes him do crazy things to help others because that’s how good he is. Tweety comes from a line of important Canaries, even being considered a deity in some cultures, and although Tweety has sometimes been a wild bird, most of the time he has been shown as Granny's loyal pet, and despite appearing as a baby bird, Tweety has often been shown to have met Granny since she was younger (making one wonder how old he is).

Tweety has been shown to live a perfect, calm life with Granny and occasionally with Hector the Bulldog relaxing in his cage without a care in the world, or at least he would be if it weren't for the puddy tat himself; Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr., sometimes being a stray cat that tries to enter the house, other times being another of Granny's pets even before Tweety, not matter what, Sylvester's personal goal is to eat Tweety and do everything necessary to achieve it, although many times it is due to hunger, other times is out of genuine obsession to catch him. Or because he's bored at Granny's house.

Sylvester's plans usually consist of reaching Tweety's cage or any high place he is in, when he is not chasing him in a more conventional way, although reaching the canary is already difficult, sometimes Sylvester has to deal with people like Hector or Granny or anyone else protecting Tweety. And if there is no one to help him, Tweety just uses dynamite.

Although he uses his cuteness against Sylvester consistently and somewhat resents him a little for always trying to eat him, when Tweety attacks or tricks Sylvester, it is usually out of self-defense and not out of malice. The truth is that Tweety seems to want to form a genuine friendship with Sylvester, even wanting to see him as a brother. And although it doesn't happen very often, the two have worked together to return to Granny, solve mysteries around the world, find lost treasures, and even save the Canary Islands from the evil dog advisor.  But even with all that, Sylvester is still dedicated to eating Tweety and even if he doesn't like it, he has pretty much accepted it at this point.

Don't underestimate this little yellow canary, he may be cute and he may be too innocent for his own good, but if he is in danger or the situation needs his help, Tweety will come out of his cage and show how he has put that puddy tat in hungry for such a long time.

Equipment

Jerry

Miscellaneous Items

Over the years of Jerry's existence in cartoons, he has had many things to do slapstick with, whether they are things that he has taken or that he has just made appear out of nowhere with his Hammer Space, even things bigger than himself. Many of these things are typical things that one would see a cartoon use and that don't need a whole section and long description of what they do, so here I will put some of these things here and later I will dedicate sections to the most unique and specific items.

And SO MUCH MORE.

Laser Gun

Pretty simple, a weapon that fires lasers that are very powerful to destroy metal and vaporize someone completely.

Jetpack

Jerry has a Jetpack that allows him to fly freely at high speeds wherever he wants. It can produce enough smoke to cover Tom's head and is strong enough to hold up a wheel of Cheese that Jerry was inside.

Vanishing Cream & Invisible Ink

Vanishing Cream and Invisible Ink are commercial products that serve to make skin smoother and to write invisible messages, respectively. But this is a cartoon, so both make Jerry literally become invisible, both work the same, with both being put on something to make it invisible and being able to wash it off with water, a towel, or drink chocolate milk. But it can still cast a shadow, somehow.

Paper Wings

When Nibbles tried to fly with wings he created out of paper, Jerry showed him how to do it by moving his arms fast enough with them and jumping from a high place, and after multiple attempts, they managed to fly, impressing even Tom. They became so skilled and fast when flying with these that even their flight was similar to that of ducks.

Jerry  also has two variants of these wings that make them look like Butterfly wings and Bat wings.

Hamster Ball

Given to him by a Hamster who wanted freedom, this Hamster ball protects Jerry from anyone who wants to eat him, allows him to float in water, and can withstand hits from a croquet mallet, a bat, huge shoes, and even a Chainsaw.

Costumes

With his nature as a tricker and a bit of a prankster, Jerry has worn a large number of costumes on many occasions. Although many times it is to play a role or for a job, other times Jerry has used these costumes to pretend to be someone or something completely different.

There are several Jerry costumes to highlight; A hat and a trench coat that covers him completely, a two-mouse cat costume, his Cousin Muscles' clothes that give him respect in the lower neighborhoods, and a giant mouse costume that he controls like a Mecha that he uses to beat Tom to the poll.

Aggrandizing Hammer

At first this might seem like a hammer the ideal size for a mouse, but like a Matryoshka doll in reverse, it stretches revealing a larger and larger hammer to deliver a good blow.

Wonderland's Cake

After a crazy adventure in Wonderland, Tom and Jerry received a piece of cake from the Mad Hatter that gave them the ability to fly when they consumed it to return home. Although they have to be careful not to end up trapped in the branches of a tree.

Super Cape

Given to him by the Superhero Super Cape, this piece of fabric gives Jerry the power to fly.

Ghost Glasses

Given to Jerry by a ghost itself, Jerry can see invisible ghosts with these glasses, and anyone else who wears the glasses can also see the ghosts.

Mind Control Flute(s)

Jerry has shown multiple times to be able to make creatures do things for him, from small ants (Show Above) to a giant dragon. Of course these two examples happen with two flutes that look very different, but it's not like Jerry can mind control himself since he can only do so when using a flute. So it's one of two things, either they're the same flute animated differently, or Jerry has different flutes that he can use to control the mind.

Either way, Jerry can control the minds of others to do whatever he wants by playing a flute.

Re-integrate Ray

Given to him by the alien Peep, this ray gun reverses the effects of disintegration, that is, it makes people turned into ashes return to their normal selves, although it requires that all the people's ashes be collected first.

Magic Carpet

While cleaning a palace in Arab, Jerry discovers a magic carpet that is activated by saying the word ''Fly.'' This carpet can fly and it has to obey the orders of whoever activated it.

Pally Potion

Finding it on a Wizard place, this potion makes the person who consumes it a pacifist, making him want to be friends with everyone nearby, no matter how dangerous or threatening the foe was/is.

Spring Tonic

This is a special drink that gives a person energy when they are tired, a simple spoonful will make them go back to normal after being massively sleepy, but three whole drinks of this fills someone with so much energy that it makes them move so fast to create afterimages and dodge thrown tomatoes.

Texas Zinger

This is a medicine made by Jerry's Uncle Pecos, swallowing it not only instantly cures Jerry of any illness he has, but also gives him an increase in adrenaline, speed, muscles, strength, and desire to fight. And this is from an expired version of the medicine that lasts a few moments, a freshly made batch can give the drinker fire breath and even increase the size of a small creature.

Visibility Gun

This is a gun that shoots a special type of red paint that allows him to see anyone who is invincible.

Bubble Pen

This may look like a normal pen, but when Jerry clicks the pen, it releases a large amount of soap bubbles to distract and disorient any opponent. It releases so many bubbles that it covers an entire normal-sized sofa with Tom on it.

Elephant Alert Whistle

After helping an elephant with a problem with his trunk, Jerry gained access to the Elephant Alert Whistle, a device that has only been known to elephants for multiple generations, and is used to call any Elephant to come help Jerry (mostly stepping on whoever is bothering Jerry).

Even if there are no Elephants in the area, they can still hear the whistle and come help Jerry, even if it takes some time. However, since this whistle can call any elephant, it is unlikely that the elephant that arrives will willingly help Jerry, especially when elephants have consistently shown to have an incredible fear of mice.

 Rat Cat Cop

This is an Aerosol Can that creates small blue humanoid creatures with sentience that take the role of cops to catch mice. The Can can be used to create more police, create vehicles, more vehicles, and upgrade vehicles.

The only disadvantage is that these creatures and other constructs made from the Cat Cop can be easily destroyed by a small blow or even wind, although they can be reformed while retaining the memory of what they were doing before disappearing.

This was originally a Rat Cop that Tom used to catch Jerry, but then Jerry had access to the Can, changed Rat Cop's name to Cat Cop with a marker, and now they are heading to go after Tom, indicating that these Cops go after  any creature whose name is in the Can.

Lightsaber

Yep, Jerry also has a lightsaber in the cover of this comic book. Is this an exact lightsaber copy or just some toy? I don’t know, but given space aesthetics and the fact he already has a lot of crazy sci-fi stuff, it may as well be a Star Wars lightsaber.

Shrinking and Enlarging Ray

This is a Ray created by a scientist for the purpose of doing things big and small that Jerry took and can use in himself or to others, indicated by a red ray to make something big and a blue ray to make something blue. Rays can take someone to sizes even smaller than a mouse and enlarge them to sizes larger than a castle.

Futuristic device

In an appearance from the future Jerry obtains a futuristic device that is difficult to identify. It can create a heat wave that can make holes in metal, acts as an outstretched arm to grab objects and bring them to him from a distance, cut cake, and open doors to the future.

Question Mark Power-Ups

In Tom And Jerry Fist Of Fury a Question Mark appears that gives the player a random Power Up, all playable characters including Jerry can take this question mark and get that random Power Up, those are;

 Superhero Suit

In the comics, Jerry has taken on the role of a superhero on many occasions, and although on many of those occasions he has worn different looking suits, for this section I am going to assume that they are all the same suit but viewed through a different lens, because there is nothing that contradicts this and is more easy.

Given to him by Aliens, this suit gives Jerry Super Strength, Super Speed, and gives him superpowers such as flying, make bullets bounce off him, and shooting lasers from his hands.

Duplication Machine

Machine in question is pretty simple, it analyzes somebody with its ray from above, and creates a new clone for it. It doesn’t seem to have a limit as it created even more clones of Jerry later on.

Experimental Super Cookies

Made by Dr. Bigby, these Super Cookies were made with the intention of increasing the strength of whoever consumes them, but the Doctor was never able to figure out what was missing to make them work. It wasn't that after eating a couple of cookies, Jerry then drank milk and it turned out that that was the key for the cookies to start kicking in.

Although eating the cookies and then drinking milk already gives someone enough super strength, the more cookies one eats before drinking the milk, the bigger one becomes, even gaining powers like fire laser eyes, frosty ice breath, and can seemingly teleport. The only downside is that the increase in strength, size, powers only last around 2 minutes before they revert back to normal.

Gravitron

This is a device from Dr. Bigby's laboratory that Jerry was able to access to play with. What it does is eliminate the gravity of a room by making everything that is not attached to the floor float.

It seems that the effects of the Gravitron only affect a single room at the time, since we see that when someone enters from a different room to one with the Gravitron fast their synergy does not stop, and when the Gravitron is move to a different space, its effects end on the previous space and affect the new space it is in.

Cheese Base Explosive

This is a mini capsule that Jerry put in a chemical based on the space cheese he has been collecting. We don't know exactly what it is and what its functions are on its own, but we know that combined with the formula that Tom was making, it created an explosion so strong that sent them back in time.

Computer

This is a computer that helps Jerry to keep track of the placement of his robot mouse, control it with the panel, and always see where his enemies are heading to.

Rings of Power

One time when Jerry fought Tom in a superhero lair, they both ended up using the Rings that gave the superhero team their superpowers. Although Jerry was only able to use three, The red ring that gives him Super Strength and Invincibility, The yellow ring that gives him Fire Powers, and The white ring that increases his size.

Monster Hunting Equipment

In Transylvanian Jerry is known as Van Mousling, a professional Monster hunter who has enormous number of weapons to hunt monsters, including;

The Magic Ring

After a series of events, Jerry ended up with a Wizard's Magical Ring stuck on his head like a crown, although at first he didn't know how to control its powers, over time he began to learn how to use them and have full control over them.

The Ring can bring inanimate objects to life, shrink and enlarge anything, teleport things away and warp objects to where the user wants or where he is, summon anything out of thin-air, give things the ability to fly, transmute people into whatever the user wants, liquidize people, seemingly swap bodies? (Context; 15:08 is them seemingly changing; 21:40 is them changing back, but who knows if that’s actually what is happening here), and can stop people and objects in time.

It even seems like Jerry kept those powers after having the ring for so long, so it's possible he could do all that without the ring.

Magic Hat

One time Jerry and Nibbles found a top hat that they quickly discovered was a Magic Hat that can summon pretty much anything. Just have to say the thing the person wants and it will come out of the hat, have we seen this being done with animals, plants, foods, humans, elements like smoke, it can even create multiple clones of Jerry himself with special features that he wants like going extra fast.

Witches Wand

This is the magic wand of the witches Hildie and Beatie, who Jerry has taken and used multiple times, this wand can; give objects sentience to do whatever he wants, and take away the sentience of whatever it hits as well. It also gives him the ability to utilize telekinesis, transmute, manipulating size of objects, create objects out of thin air, duplicate living forms, paralyze, teleportation, control minds causing opponents to change attitude, make things vanish, it can fly, changing gender (fucking woke Tom and Jerry), nullifying magic attacks, and reflect attacks/spells back at the opponent.

Got all that? Good. Those are the most normal things the Wand can do.

The wand also can erupt earth to summon fire from under while also giving sentience to said fire, turn Halloween decorations into real monsters, create thunderclouds (which also can cause floods), create “Shrivel Blast'' which is a homing attack spell, and creating the “Flying Daggers” Spell which summons Butterflies tricking opponents into thinking that spell is harmless unless its true form of literal flying daggers start, well, flying at you.

Can create and delete living forms while changing their shape and capabilities to their own liking. It can manipulate your physiology by swapping parts of your body with something else. And at last shown but not least; can change your physiology from air breathing to water breathing, as in making you able to breathe underwater but at the cost of making you unable to breathe in the air. Yeah… this thing is very busted.

Magic Lamps

Yes, Lamps, in plural. There have been three different occasions where Jerry has encountered a Magic Lamp with wish granting genies. All of these genies should be comparable to each other, they all have the same rule of obeying whoever has the lamp, so they should have the same magical capabilities.

They can create anything from nothing, transmute objects, telekinesis, teleport others, shrink and enlarge people, give someone Hyperspeed, rewinding time, switching roles between alley cats, house cats, pets, and pests, and the Genies also seem to be able to influence violence on others if that is the wish. They also seem capable of reading minds themselves, so the person doesn't even have to say their wish out loud for it to happen. Unfortunately, they have the typical genie limitation of only fulfilling three wishes, or well, only two of them, the genie that looks like Spike doesn't seem to have that limitation.

There are other things to highlight about the lamps themself; They have their own magic that allows them to transform into whatever the person in possession of them wants, someone small enough can enter to the lamp, and if someone even touches the genie's turban, they become the new genie of the lamp, harnessing all their powers. Unfortunately, this also causes them to be bound by the Lamp, so they can be defeated Jafar style.

Dancing Mice

These are toy mice that move by wagging their tail and controlling direction with a magnet.

Robot Mouse

When Jerry was on a space station to get Cheese, he used this little Robot Mouse to get the cheese for him. Likely built by himself, The Robot Mouse can be controlled by both Jerry's computer and a remote control, but still has its own artificial intelligence to move at free will. He is very fast, so much so that he leaves a path of fire in his wake and can go faster than Tom's Cat Robot. He has a mechanical arm to put Cheese inside it, and he can move his ears to fly.

Totally Automatic Watch Dog

This is a mechanical dog that Jerry ordered from a magazine, it attacks anyone whenever they put the photo of the individual in question in its mouth, but it can also be controlled by a remote control so that the attack is more precise. Unfortunately it has a very short battery, being completely unusable after a short time of use.

Tobor

A robot made by Tom with the aim of capturing mice. This is until Jerry got his remote controller and made him do everything he wanted. It has its own hammer that can make holes on walls, and is strong enough to straight up bust through walls by itself.

Little Robot Guard

Found in a dumpster and repaired by Tuffy, this little robot went to Jerry and Tuffy to protect them as a thank you for putting him back together. Despite its size, this robot can break walls, has missiles, and can transform into a Tank, a Jet, and a Helicopter with a magnet.

Unfortunately, if this robot is hit too badly, its programming will go crazy and it will start attacking everyone around it, even Jerry. And it takes a lightning ball to stop him for good.

Tiny Bulldog

Finding it in a magazine, Jerry bought a guard dog to protect him from Tom, but when the mail arrived it ended up arriving a little… short. But this little dog has a big bite.

He's strong enough to knock down a door multiple times and send Tom to the hospital, smart enough to know how to open a jar, he can eat a grenade without being affected in the slightest, and can eat practically anything. From a whole stake, wood, the filling of a house, very deep earth, metal, and even the entirety of Tom just leaving some hair.

Samurai Guard Gong

Given to him by spirits of martial arts masters, this gong will summon a Samurai Buddy Guard for Jerry named Momo-sumo every time Jerry rings it, appearing and protecting him whenever he needs help.

He is strong, durable, can teleport instantly to where he is needed, has a sharp sword, and even has some creativity when dealing with problems. Although he is not perfect, someone can attack with long-range weapons or make him not hear the gong, but nothing that will stop for good.

Fake Jerry Mouse’s

Jerry has a lot of fake hims that are so convincing that they can fool Tom and every time. They vary from stuffed animals, to more mechanical versions.

But among all of them there is none more impressive than the Robot Jerry, a robotic version of him created by his Uncle Jeremiah that works by remote control. This robot can grab things, move, and have agility equal to Jerry's, possibly even better.

The Red Batmouse Buckle

Obtained as part of a package to learn how to deal with Tom when he was a child, by pressing the button Jerry can immediately summon the Superhero Batmouse to help him with any problem he has, especially if it is related to cats. Who can fly, knows martial arts, and is strong enough to damage Tom, carry a whole cat by himself, and hold a bowling ball with one hand.

Ninja Security Belt

Once Jerry got the Mutual Ninja Mouse Protection Agency Policy that would protect him from any attack from Tom that he may have, for that they gave him the Ninja Security Belt to be able to call a Ninja mouse by pressing the button in the center, the more times you press the more Ninjas button appears, and an unlimited amount of Ninjas can appear.

These ninjas are strong, agile, and have a sword that can cut virtually anything.

Mouse Car

This is a mini car possibly created by Jerry to go at high speeds to travel to the space station faster. Throws fire from the exhaust pipe and It's faster than Tom's own Robot Cat,

Toy Car

This is a toy car that Jerry bought at a store (although it still needs gas for some reason). It can create a lot of smoke, run over Tom, and is able to hold many things from a piece of cheese to Tom.

Motorcycle

Jerry has a motorcycle that makes him look really cool. It even has a horn and everything.

Boat

This is a boat made by Jerry and Nibbles, that works just like a regular boat, floating in the water and that.

Space Tank

This is a somewhat slow-moving reinforced vehicle that Jerry uses to get more cheese on the space station. This has a green gun that shoots an explosion in the face, an invisibility ray, a retractable periscope, a bag to cover a gun pointing at it, and an emergency exit.

Oldest Fire Truck

Jerry has what appears to be a very old prototype of a Fire Truck, just two wheels connected to a water container and a hose that is used to put out fires.

Skyboard

Jerry has a Skyboard (Not a SURFboard because it doesn't SURF, it floats in the air and therefore the SKY) that allows him to fly in the air, is faster than Tom's Jet Shoes and it has two mechanical arms.

Space Motorcycle

Jerry also has a Back to the Future style future motorcycle that can go at high speeds, it can carry Tom's likes, has a plunger launcher tied to a rope, and has a mode to create a smoke bomb.

Toy Plane

This is a toy plane that Jerry can completely control to fly. It can go at the same speed as Tom's jetpack, and unlike normal planes it can stay in place in mid-air.

Model Plane

This is another plane that Jerry has to fly, this time being a model airplane that Jerry made capable of flying using the spring of a clock as a motor.

Remote Control Plane

This is yet another plane that Jerry has, this time controlled by a remote control, with propellers so strong that when someone tries to stop them they end up being moved.

Ancient Flying Airplane

At Postlewaite Manor Jerry discovers a strange model of what looks like an old type of airplane, created by Leonardo himself on his attempts to discover a machine so that man could fly, despite its strange design this model can actually fly just fine.

Flying Green Ship

Jerry has a vehicle that is difficult to describe. It's like a spaceship, but doesn't go to space, and it's definitely not a plan. But whatever it is, it can fly, has extendable robotic hands, and can pull out objects like a lit candle.

Self Made Racing Car

Of all the vehicles and cars that Jerry has had (and believe me, there are too many), there is no one that stands out more than his race car from Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry.

Made from a roller skate and built with trash, Jerry made this car to join the race around the Planet. Although at first it might seem like a toy, the small size of the car has its advantages, such as not being stopped by traffic, or being able to drive in small and fragile places like the rope of an old bridge. But even with its size, Jerry's car still manages to keep up with, and even surpass, the speed of the other cars in the race, and its durability should be superior to Tom's car, who can take too much damage despite being built of poorer than Jerry's.

The Car itself also has a wide variety of gadgets, abilities, and features: It has a button to release smoke, another to release oil from behind the car, a hook tied to a rope, a glove that works as a balloon to make his car float through the air, mechanical hands that can deliver things like a glass cutter, an overdrive feature to drive even faster, a float underneath to be able to float in the sea, an plane mode that can save Jerry from falling, an underwater submarine mode with rocket propellants that work under the sea, can change the wheels for spoons for traversing snowy terrain, and has his own personalized ‘nuclear-powered’ Jet-Plane variants that can fly to Hollywood from Boreo in under 5 minutes.

Tweety

Miscellaneous Items

Over the years of Tweety's existence in cartoons, he has had many things to do slapstick with, whether they are things that he has taken or that he has just made appear out of nowhere with his Hammer Space, even things bigger than himself. Many of these things are typical things that one would see a cartoon use and that don't need a whole section and long description of what they do, so here I will put some of these things here and later I will dedicate sections to the most unique and specific items.

And SO MUCH MORE.

Birdcage

This is Tweety's iconic birdcage in which he is seen in about 80% of his appearances swinging, singing, or eating bird seeds behind bars. Its main function is to keep Sylvester out rather than keep Tweety in, and although is not impenetrable, it is shown that the bars of the cage make Sylvester unable to get to him, having to first open the small door of the cage to do so.

The cage is shown to be very transportable, being able to be placed in practically any vehicle, on a very high pole, or placed on the roof by a rope. The cage also has a couple of interesting features; It can be heated to high temperatures without the metal melting, it has a compartment in the bottom to put ice so that the cage cools down, the handle can be connected to a light bulb port to electrify it, it can remove the inside screws from the base to separate the cage from it, it has a secret exit in the back, an internal elevator that increases in size when it go outside, internal drainage, a more effective cage electrifier, mechanical hands with boxing gloves, and it can become a jet power plane.

Conveniently it also has a rope lifeline and one of those Inflatable Emergency Airstairs to complement the plane mode.

Robocoop

The Robocoop is a technological bird cage designed for the protection of Tweety Birds that Granny bought to protect Tweety from Sylvester's attacks. It has electrified bars, robotic hands that can twist someone, and multi-directional laser beams.

Its only disadvantage is that it needs to be connected to a current to turn on, and when it is disconnected it stops working completely.

Birdcage Updated

Tweety once called the ACME Home Security Company to have his cage reinforced so that Sylvester couldn't bother him. For this, the cage was completely covered by walls of solid gold, and a security system was installed that hits the attacker with a simple touch with a spring at the bottom of the cage, sends an electric shock so big that it destroyed a panel of the comic, it has a bear trap, and can create robotic arms, a robotic boot, and a wheel to chase the attacker.

The only disadvantage of it is that when activated he will attack literally anyone he sees, even if it is the bird who has to protect or a stranger.

Laser Gun

Pretty straight forward, a weapon that fires lasers that are shown as electricity. Although this Laser Gun is not from Tweety but from a canary-shaped alien, this alien gave the gun to Tweety at the end of the story.

Clay Flute

With Clay he was able to create a flute that he used to control Sylvester. He made him dance, move hard from side to side, and hit him with the floor.

Crated Cheese

Possibly a taste container like a salt shaker, Tweety used it to bring an army of mice into his house to cause so much chaos (that sure would help Tweety a lot if he fought a mouse).

High-Voltage Cable

This is a cable that seems to be completely covered in electricity that incredibly shocks anyone who touches it unless they use a Nitrile glove like Tweety.

Costumes

Like the typical cartoon trickster, Tweety has a variety of costumes that (in addition to making him look adorable) he uses to trick his enemies, making them believe he is a different person, but most of the time he uses them to play a role or pretend to be somebody else for fun. And although some of his costumes are simple, two of them are a super convincing little girl and Granny costumes. But in general Toon’s disguises are very effective and this is true of Tweety too, since with black paint he can pretend to be a baby cat. And this Toon’s disguises are even capable of fooling robots, even those with identifying sensors,

Another thing to highlight about the costumes; Whenever a Toon dresses up, be it a full costume or just a hat, they act completely different to the point of having a new personality. We actually see Tweety do this in ‘You're Thor?!’, in which after spending a whole adventure in a Viking outfit, he thought he was the god Thor.

Anvil-Pillow

At first glance this might look like your average pillow, but inside it is an anvil ready to hurt anyone.

ACME Vac

It allows for Tweety to suck up any items like coins or music notes within its range and collect them.

ACME Rewind-O-Matic

In the game, if Tweety fails to meet the requirements to pass a level and is stopped from reaching the end of it, he can use this device to rewind time (thanks for the tip) to reach a certain point in a level where they can try again.

(Note: This is not something automatic, as it is not usable if Tweety is defeated before reaching his destination. Only if he reaches his destination, but without meeting the requirements for the level. So this appears to be a device that must be activated)

Gossamer Potion

It says it in the name, whoever drinks this temporarily becomes Gossamer, who in the game is invulnerable and can smash through all obstacles and rival Toons.

Super Hero Cape

This coin gives Tweety a cape that temporarily allows him flight and invulnerability. In the game, it allows him to smash through all obstacles and Toons that are in his way.

Crash Helmet

Allows for the wearer to receive one attack or crash without taking any damage.

Cowboy Hat

This is a cowboy hat that allows Tweety to... ride Sylvester which makes him temporarily invulnerable.

This is... weird, since it's not like Tweety summons Sylvester with the hat since he's chasing him already in the game, and Tweety has shown to be able to ride Sylvester in the past without the hat. So what this item really does is... make Tweety able to mount whoever is behind him automatically. And invulnerability. Yeah, sounds about right.

The Curse of the Bombay Rock

Is a rock that, when touched by someone (except Tweety apparently), causes the person to suffer small random events that hurt them, possibly altering the probability of any event happening. Like throwing it and having it fall on someone's head who would throw it back, making tigers appear out of nowhere, or swapping places of the thing the person ate with bats.

2000’s Boombox

Tweety has a Boombox that, by playing a cool music CD, can make whoever is listening to it (except Tweety apparently) start dancing against their will, only stopping when the music stops. It was able to stop even Taz.

Gruesome Snooze Grains

Found in a witch's spice rack, these powders can put somebody to sleep instantly.

Power Pill Vitamins

These Vitamins are red pills that when consumed significantly increase Tweety's strength, said to be as strong as a bull and being able to fly 30 miles no problem.

Sam's Magic Elixir

Tweety once teamed up with Yosemite Sam to sell a magical elixir to the public, at first it seemed like this was a Snake Oil Salesman situation, but it turns out that for some inexplicable reason the elixir only works on Tweety and not anyone else.

This elixir gives Tweety an increase in strength that allows him to lift Thousand Pounds, lift the side of a wagon, and lift a rock bigger than him. It also gives him Invincibility, improves his fighting ability, and makes him capable of drilling through solid rock. It also seems that the more Elixir he takes, the stronger he gets. Although the effects of the Elixir last for a short period of time and Tweety needs to take more after that.

Flea Circus in a Box

Tweety has a matchbox full of circus fleas, who do tricks but more importantly, can scare animals that don't like fleas, and surely they can also make animals itch like normal fleas tend to do.

Leveler 5000

The Leveler 5000 is… actually, I don’t know what this thing is supposed to be. Tweety tells Sylvester to watch his eyes because of how bright it is, but it only fires a red laser that spins in circles, and it doesn't cut Sylvester but shows that the laser burns enough to leave a burn on the concrete…

So, make of all what you want.

Jerkyl Ray

The Jerkyl Ray is a laser whose original intention was to bring a fiercer and tougher version of a person, but a child genius modified it to do the opposite, making Sylvester as harmless as a bird, making him believe that he was an actual bird. Tweety opted to control the ray and put it back to his original setting, but it was shot at him and made to believe that he was a tough cat.

The Ray has a function to return everyone to normal with a single shot, and can be held on a tripod or can be held like a pistol.

ACME Food Dehydrator

A device used by Tweety once intended to be used to dehydrate food, but can also suck liquid out of anything and anyone.

Mobile Fortunetelling Machine

This is a portable invention (with good brakes) that Tweety created himself, when entering someone's birthday and selecting them, it gives said person a prediction of their fortune in the form of a small card, which ends up being 100% accurate. Even if the person reads it wrong.

Pencil

Tweety possesses one of the most powerful weapons in the Looney Tunes universe; a Pencil.

Alright, in 'Duck Amuck' and 'Rampage Rabbit' we see the animators using a Brush and a Pencil to control the cartoon and be able to mess with Daffy and Bugs as much as they want. Now this is not to say that Tweety has the power of the animator just because he has the pencil, he has never shown anything close to having the power of the animator like Bugs, Daffy, or Elmer. Furthermore, we only see Tweety with the Pencil, not with the Brush, and the Brush was the most used to create the backgrounds, change the appearance of the characters, make anything appear out of nowhere, and animate the characters into existence. And although the Pencil can obviously also draw, it doesn't do it as well or in such detail as using the Brush.

But what the Pencil stands out for is its ability to erase everything with its eraser. We see Tweety doing exactly that by erasing Sylvestre's face (Show Above), so it wouldn't be such a stretch to say that the pencil could erase to the same degree that we've seen the eraser erase before. This includes any objects, things like a rabbit hole, any part of a Toon's body such as the tail, the head, everything except the mouth and eyes, or even erase the entire Toon.

Of course, the Toons still exist in some form since even when there is nothing of them left, they can still talk (except when you first erase their head), but at this point they become incorporeal beings unable to interact with the world around them, and the only way to recover their bodies is with the animator redrawing them, so the person who erase them could leave them like that forever if they wanted. And Tweety has access to the device to do so.

Venus Flytrap

Tweety has access to one (possibly more) Venus Flytrap plant that at first appears small, but can grow to sizes that can completely swallow Sylvester. Tweety even has special quick-growing seeds that with a little water can grow this type of plant in an instant.

ACME Bulldog

Although we never see him outside his shipping box, Tweety has a Bulldog security dog that is strong enough to beat Sylvester.

Fake Tweety Birds

Tweety has a lot of fake lookalikes of himself to confuse Sylvester of who is the real Tweety. Sometimes they are dolls made of fabric and soft stuffing, other times they are metal robots with basic commands to move, but in any case, it’s very likely that they have a stick of dynamite inside them.

Smokey’s Magic Lamp

Tweety once had access to the magic lamp of Smokey the Genie (Although when he used it he was served by Sylvester, it's a long story). Smokey is a very Powerful genie who has to do everything the person holding the lamp says, being able to create objects from nothing (including living beings), transmute objects and people, telekinesis, teleport things, make things vanish, shrink and enlarge people and objects, can make people come inside his lamp, throw people at long distances with his lamp, put people in positions like lead actors, singers, and even presidents, turn people into genies (making them servants of Smokey after the breaks), and he doesn't seem to have the limit of three wishes like other genies. He is even capable of throwing hands if necessary.

The downside is that Smokey is kind of a tricky genie, in addition to doing the typical thing of taking wishes literally, he will also try to sell items for his second job, charging people for the wishes they made, and making them pay by making them work for him, varying from being his maids to his slaves moving a wheel to make more smoke. But it seems that one can escape from this faith if someone else rubs the lamp.

Toy Plane

This is a toy plane that Tweety can completely control to fly (ignoring the fact that Tweety can already fly).

Mini Jet

Obtained from a military base in Roswell, New Mexico, Tweety can use this miniature version of a Fighter Jet to quickly fly around the base.

Mini Military Vehicle

Obtained from the same military base, this miniature version of what looks like a Growler that can help Tweety navigate the military base at considerably higher speeds.

Mini Race Car

This is a car that Tweety created from a skateboard, putting in an engine powered by Jet Pellets that Tweety has to put in the gas tank so that he can continue running, putting in multiples of them so that he can run even faster.

Hot Air Balloon

Made out of his Global Patrol station, Tweety has a Hot Air Balloon that can help him travel around the world to do his job. Tweety also has a smaller Air Balloon to make fake clouds.

Mobile Crane

In ‘Bugs Bunny Builders’, Tweety works alongside Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny, and Porky Pig at The Looney Builders, a construction company dedicated to building any type of buildings and constructions for all the citizens of Looneyburg, kinda like Bob the Builder. And just like that show, the Builders use work-vehicles to do their work, and in Tweety's case, he used a Mobile Crane.

A Crane is a piece of heavy machinery with a long arm called the boom, sometimes expandable, which the operator moves around, at the end of the boom there is a cable with some type of hook or claw on it, allowing them to move heavy objects easier. But the difference between a Mobile Crane and a regular Crane is its mobility, helpful in situations where one uses less space or no need for a larger crane. Real life Mobile Cranes can carry loads weighing up to 660 tons,

But Tweety's Crane is not like any other crane, it can lift heavier objects than a normal crane, from Daffy's Dump Truck to the rings of Saturn, but the vehicles of all Looney Builders are also faster than any normal work-vehicle, being capable of mach in speed with race cars (AND the Roadrunner). The cable is also very strong, being able to withstand the force of a rocket, the same type of rocket that sent Porky's steamroller into space in seconds.

Luckily Tweety has enough skill to use the crane, describing himself as a crane-expert, and it shows. Tweety has incredible prestige when using the crane, being able to hold small objects like a popcorn, and being able to move fragile objects like plates without breaking them. He can even make the cable move in ways that normal cables cannot, sometimes moving like a normal arm.

The Crane has a variety of things at the end of his boom that helps it in holding heavy objects, it has a claw in the shape of Tweety's beak that allows it to grab large objects with the strength of it, a Hook that allows it grab objects attached to cables or that are small, it has a white glove that allows it to hold objects in the only way that something with 5 (in this case 4) fingers can, and a butterfly net, which works like a butterfly net. We've seen Tweety switch between these different ways of holding things between scenes and we've never seen him switch them manually, so presumably the crane can switch between these different forms as a feature.

Speaking of forms, the Looney Builders mechanic, Petunia Pig, has given all the vehicles different forms so that the Builders can do their job, completely transforming their vehicles with the press of a button. It has a Fly Mode that allows them to fly to reach high places and travel long distances. In this Mode, Builders can travel to England, Mexico, France, China and Japan in a matter of seconds. It has an Outer Space mode that makes the vehicles capable of space travel, allowing them to reach Mars in a matter of seconds. And Finally they have a Submarine Mode that allows them to travel underwater.

Abilities

Jerry

Mouse Physiology

In the vast history and lore of the Tom and Jerry franchise, Jerry is... a mouse. That's it. He is not a chosen one mouse, a descendant of a great mouse dynasty or a special super mouse, or even a cartoon of a mouse. Jerry is just an ordinary, regular mouse. Therefore, Jerry's biology should be similar to that of a real-life mouse (which there is evidence of in the show).

Mice share many organs similar to those of humans, many of them even in the same positions. They have brains, hearts, lungs, stomachs, livers, small intestines, and other organs almost the same, in fact they share 97% of their DNA with those of humans, with small differences such as their metabolisms being seven times faster and with a different inflammation reaction. That is why mice are 95% of the animals used in biomedical research.

But of course mice have their own interesting biological stuff, which Jerry takes and exaggerates for comical purposes. Mice have ever-growing teeth that they use to constantly bite things, Jerry can bite through wood as if he was a beaver. Mice use their whiskers and eyes to know what they are doing, Jerry obviously has whiskers and eyes that allow him to move in the dark, so well that they glow in completely dark spaces. Mice have ears that allow them to hear things from far away and noses that allow them to smell many scents, and Jerry... also have those that do the same thing (Ok, not everything is exaggerated).

But Jerry and the mice of the Tom and Jerry world are not just normal mice, they have many abilities and biological things unique to them. Among them are their tails, which act as an extra appendage hard enough to open corks and locks, they are part absorbent like sponges, they can exhale air with helium, blow on their fingers to increase parts of their body or come back from being crushed, they can see and interact with other people's shoulder angel and devil, and they can can teleport objects and people via television screens.

Swordsmanship and Archery

Jerry is an expert at using two iconic weapons, the sword and the bow and arrow, to be able to fight at short and long distance respectively.

First Jerry is a very expert swordsman, taking part in sparring and practicing with a training bag to improve his skills, and usually using a mini rapier and a mini longsword, Jerry has shown the ability to dodge, counter, and attack with mastery and quick thinking, even against opponents with swords larger than his own. And although many of his duels have been against Tom, Jerry is capable of fighting any type of opponent, like Prince John.

As for the Bow and Arrow, Jerry has shown multiple times that he has a perfect aim, so much so that he has even worked alongside Robin Hood, or he has just been Robin Hood. Even when he misses a shot he hits it. wait what?

Ability of Disguise

Other than costumes, Jerry has used and created multiple disguises to trick others, specially Tom, creating disguises that are usually convincing in a pretty consistent manner whether he needs to pretend to be someone or something else. For instance, he was able to impersonate a dog with a mask, a tiny cat, a squirrel, a baby panda with paint, a beaver with a small racket, a baby kangaroo, a tomato, and even the chief butler from Buckingham Palace. And every time he does this he fools everyone, including the animals of said species and the people who personally know the person who is being impersonated.

Martial Arts

Jerry has been seen throwing hands multiple times, and although many of those times have been street brawls, Jerry has shown that he knows several legitimate forms of fighting such as Boxing, Wrestling, Karate, Judo, and Kung Fu.

Although we haven't seen the fullest of Jerry's fighting skills, we know that he has to know them very well. Jerry won a match against Tom in a professional boxing match where Tom was the champion, even training him in the sport. Jerry even got martial arts training from a spiritual mentor.

Body Morphing / Control

One of Jerry's most consistent abilities is how his body can morph both reactively and voluntarily, he can morph parts or his entire body into different objects, force his body into different shapes, forms, and places, move around the features of his face, can grow angel wings and devil horns, and can even be separated into two Jerries.

Elasticity / Stretching

Similar to the body morphing but different, Jerry's body has a certain level of elasticity to it, and is able to stretch any part of his body, from the arms, legs, neck, tongue, tail, and his entire body in general, sometimes reactionary, sometimes voluntarily.

Not only can Jerry stretch impressively, his body also seems to have flexibility in general. He has been crushed multiple times, changing the shape of his body according to what crushed him, even merging with things like paper or bread dough, twisted multiple times, his body can be inflated like a balloon, squeeze into small places, and if he eats something larger than himself, his body will take the shape of what he ate.

Hammerspace

A classic cartoon staple, Jerry can pull things from nowhere like hammers, knives, anvils, and a huge etc! Even things that are two or three times his own size. He can also put objects in places they were not before without having to even move.

Teleportation

Jerry has the ability to appear from one place to another that he was not before in seconds, with teleportation being one way to explain these phenomena.

Jerry has use his teleportation in many ways, can move between closed places and objects such as boxes, birthday hats and stuffed heads, go from a roaster to warehouses, comeback in seconds after falling from a skyscraper, go to closed places at distances that he definitely wasn't close to before, appear at plain sight out of nowhere, teleport things to places they weren't before, he can even leave a closed space and put something else in its place.

Regeneration / Immortality

Jerry is a classic Toon Force user, this gives him many abilities, with the most used one being the one that makes him able to regenerate from virtually anything. He has been crushed multiple times, giving him another shape, making him as flat as paper, and even turning him into an accordion, crushed or turned into a different shape, have his eardrums ruptured, being liquified, have his body split apart into pieces, get burned to ash, and go through a bunch of machines turning it into canned food. And Jerry should be compatible with Tom in terms of regeneration, and Tom can be cut into pieces, in half, be decapitated, be shot multiple times, be cut into pieces and have all those pieces frozen, and be blown into nothingness. And in all these instances, Tom and Jerry have managed to return to normal in seconds.

Tom and Jerry very consistently show the ability to regenerate from nothing, with Jerry literally being able to be POOF into nothing and come back. Although Jerry does not have the nine lives that Tom has, Jerry seems very difficult to kill, in fact unlike Tom, Jerry has never been in the afterlife. Jerry is still alive even if he is nothing but a skeleton, can have his soul out of his body and return to him, said soul can also be killed and hurt and come back from that (Yes, that Devil in the form of Jerry is Jerry), and can return from his body being erased only leaving the animation outlines. If all that wasn't enough, Jerry can regenerate a completely separate body to come back from, and can even have the very audience themself can draw Jerry and bring him back even if he’s currently not yet existing.

Duplication

Although Jerry has devices to multiply himself such as the Magic Wand and the Duplication Machine, Jerry also has the ability to do the same thing on his own. Without any type of explanation there can be two Jerries, eleven Jerries, multiple Jerries at once, all showing independence from each other, while still working together.

Gravity Manipulation

Another consistent ability Jerry has is to alter gravity in many ways. He can stop in the air giving him a brief moment to evade or to return where he was (Show Above), can walk in the air, rise in the air, stand in the air, can stop objects falling towards him in mid-air, make objects float in the air, and can levitate things.

Chemistry

Unexpectedly, Jerry has consistently shown himself to be very good at the creating of different chemical concoctions and potions from mixing different elements with one another, experimenting alongside a mad scientist and in the same building as Sherlock Holmes.

He’s created compounds that can make him run so fast that Tom’s eyes can't see him, make him bigger and stronger, a Jekyll and Hyde style potion which turns him into a terrifying version of himself temporarily, and even when he prepares a formula in a hurry, he can still make potions that can make him bigger or make others smaller and smaller when they get hit.

Magic

In addition to all the magical items he has and the magical abilities he inherited from the Magic Ring, Jerry also has magic on his own. Possibly being self-taught, Jerry has been shown to have magical abilities that he controls mainly with a mini magic wand that he has, but other times he can do them just by moving his hands. Sometimes shown as wizarding magic, mostly as classic stage magic, Jerry can do many things, such as;

Make things appear from hats, scarves, and thimbles, move objects from one place to another or swap them with another one, make things disappear, create things from nothing, make himself float, do telekinesis, transmute creatures, being able to throw red energy balls that can cut ropes, and can do Harry Houdini levels of escapism.

Non-Physical Interaction

Jerry can touch and interact with intangible things, things that no one should normally be able to touch. He can jump on clouds, touch his thoughts and that of others, and should be comparable to Tom, who can touch and hurt souls.

Immersion

Jerry can hop on and interact with 2D pictures like pictures, paintings, and stone art. This is consistent with how Jerry can immerse himself into design art, enter a TV and be able to interact with things on it, and even being able to enter a Movie as it was being played on a Movie Screen.

Animation

Jerry has brought to life various non-sentient objects and items, from a pirate flag to a banana peel (Show Above), he can also command said objects to do what he wants, from making a vinyl player hit Tom, making arrows hit where he wants, to calling a donut to go where he wants. Tom as well can draw things and they become alive, and Jerry has shown that maybe he can do the same.

Mind Reading

Although not Mind Reading in the most classic definition of the power, Jerry has shown to be able to see Tom's thoughts in the form of a thought bubble. He has seen Tom's thoughts and ideas twice, touched them once, and can even see his dreams.

Dream Sharing / Walking

Once Jerry had an adventure related to dreams, it started with him sharing the same dream that Tom had, after waking up he was able to see Tom's dream, and then Jerry decided to enter Tom's dream, while he was awake, to help his dream-self (Show Above).

This indicates that Jerry can enter and/or share the dreams of those close to him when he is asleep, and even awake he can physically enter the dreams of others. And these dreams seem to have consequences or change in the normal world, since when he and Tom made a mess in the dream, that mess was reflected in the non-dream world.

Physical Erasure

Jerry can basically just delete someone out of existence if he gives them a thumbs down, just like that, POOF! (Show Above). The only downside is that it can only work if he’s a Hollywood Star living in Hollywood; like when Tom quit that position he lost the same power, but given he’s been rich and famous on NUMEROUS occasions (multiple times being hollywood), has posters for his movies in hollywood, his shorts can be seen in Theaters and Television in-universe, and seem to be known internationally in places like Italy. All indicating that he’s still a Hollywood Star that goes there often to film or other, so this being standard for him seems like fair game (albeit a bit harder to pull off).

Digitization

Jerry entered inside a computer and an arcade turning him into a digitalized being, and in this Digital world Jerry has many powers. He can create digital clones, creating an electric ball of energy that completely evaporates someone, energy blasts that can erase digital copies and codes, he can even bring digital beings into the real world, even if by accident.

Elemental Manipulation

Jerry has control over several elements, including fire, electricity, and light (wait, does it count as an element?).

Painting

Jerry is a very talented painter, being able to paint an elephant on a big mouse, a bowling ball on a football, and his art is so good that it is even shown in art museums.

But it's not just that Jerry can draw pretty, but he can also draw a door in any painting, allowing him to enter said painting. Inside there Jerry can interact with the paint, draw things that come true, and apparently trap whoever accompanies him there.

4th Wall Breaking / Plot Manipulation

Jerry has shown multiple times to be aware of the medium he is in and and has broken the fourth wall multiple times (sometimes literally), He has spoken directly to the audience, can move the pages of your his comic, see brand logos, listen and communicate with the narrator, ask him for translation, and defy his commands, hear the non-diegetic music of his shorts, and get out of the heads of his creators. In addition to all that, Jerry can control what happens in his cartoons, in addition to defying the narrator previously mentioned, Jerry can stop what he was doing in the original short so he could see the audience knowing what they are doing, leave the Film Close Window, interact with the music menu, and being able to end the cartoon just by writing 'The End' and showing it to the camera.

This is more than a little breaking of the fourth wall, since it seems that the Tom and Jerry franchise exists in the Tom and Jerry universe. Tom and Jerry have been presented as Hollywood stars or celebrities in general multiple times, they were invited to the celebration of their 50th Anniversary, they can be interviewed for their own movie, and once they are seen finishing filming an episode of their show. This could be interpreted as Tom and Jerry being actors and the actions in their cartoons are fakes, but they have been seen acting like they always do even ''off set'', and they still live in their own cartoon world, since they have escaped to our real world multiple times (and this has happened a lot).

Reality Warping

There's a long list of things Jerry has done that can't be categorized in any other way except... changing the reality around him. With a Snap of his finger or just a thought he can create whatever he wants, from knives, clothes, a halo, platforms from his eyes to be able to walk over. In addition to creating things for nothing, he can also modify already existing things, from giving his mouse hole a zipper, being able to physically move it around, can change the direction of an arrow in the air breaking all the laws of physics, converted a pine forest into a hotel with elevators and windows, cut a stick of dynamite into pieces so that each piece becomes a different dynamite, changing the appearance of a whole room or potentially the whole house, turn Tom into a Bank, or even transforming a door that leads to a normal room, to a door that leads to nowhere.

And this is just some of the things Jerry can do, he can make things disappear and appear from existence, manipulate technology, summon other characters, cut back to the Show (Show Above), use an ordinary vacuum cleaner to suck out all of Tom's lives, and to completely end the cartoon he’s in, and…

Honestly at this point, I think it wouldn't be too much of an exaggeration to say that Jerry can do pretty much whatever he wants.

Resistances

Tweety

Toon Physiology

It is often assumed that, with wacky cartoon characters, everything they do is purely based on whatever would be funniest in that given situation and that otherwise there's no set explanation for how they can do what they do. However, Looney Tunes seems to function quite differently, with more rules and explanation of how it works than one would expect.

Toons are naturally stronger, faster, and obviously more durable than the average person, this is thanks to their Looney DNA, which in addition to allowing them to take incredible damage, also allows them to survive virtually anything (More details on the extent of that later).

But Looney DNA isn't where Toons have all of their “Powers”, they have it from their inner “Tooniness”. With Tooniness there’s the “Sense of Humor” each Toon has which brings their Zaniness to life, without it, they’d be boring husks of themselves. One’s Tooniness can become an entirely unique entity, the purest form of wacky cartoonist that can casually perform absurd Subjective Reality feats. And it seems that depending on the Toon the Tooniness varies, with characters like Porky Pig being the least obviously Looney of the cast, while characters like The Dodo Bird being even more Looney than the rest of the LT cast.

Everything comes down to Subjective Reality. Believing in something is what allows Toons to do things that are seemingly impossible, something like walking in the air, a Toon is able to make something happen so long as they are confident it can happen or they believe it's happening.

There are many abilities that Looney Tunes share with each other, but not all cartoon skills come from Looney DNA or the inner Tooniness, thanks to the existence of ACME Looniversity we know that there are skills that Toons have to learn to use. In the following sections and in the 'Before We Get to the Verdict' segment I will expand on this and explain it further, but for now these are the basics.

Fly

Tweety is a canary, canaries are birds, birds have wings, wings are used to fly. I don't know what to say to explain this more.

Special Tail Feathers

In 'King Tweety' we learn that Tweety is a descendant of a line of Canary Royalty (which includes some humans with 'bird' in their names for some reason), that was formed when the first one of them, General Chirp Bird, led an army of birds against invading Dogs for the control of the Canary Islands. With Tweety having the same characteristics as his ancestors such as a small body, the shape of his beak, and above all; Tail feathers with a marking pattern resembling the 39th president of the United States, Jimmy Carter.

It has been rumored that these feathers may have magical properties, but it is generally assumed that this is just a myth. Except they do, but just a little. An immortal dog sorcerer named Diego Von Schniffenstien has slaughtered every member of the royal family for seven centuries to collect enough of their feathers to create a feather boa that would allow him to increase his magic power by 300 times, with a super villain transformation and everything.

Although it takes a LOT of feathers to make a power increase like that, we see that Tweety's individual feathers still have a couple of special characteristics that can be explained by this magic, such as allowing Sylvester to float down gently and even fly with just two small feathers, make anyone tickle including a super powerful sorcerer, make a big sneeze out of a very small feather, be able to get so many feathers out of a single little individual, and show Sylvester where to find Tweety by flying to him, suggesting a connection between the feathers and the bird in which it belongs, this is supported by the fact that we see that the spirits of those royal canaries appear from the feathers after they are free from the Boa, making this potential connection last even after their death.

The feathers can do one more thing, but I’ll mention it later.

Hammerspace

Like with every Toon, Tweety can pull things from nowhere like mallets, scissors, dynamites, and a huge etc! Even things that are two or three times his own size. He can also put objects in places they were not before without having to even move.

Body Control / Elasticity

Originating in the era of rubber hose animation, the body of a Toon is essentially made of, well, rubber, they can freely stretch their bodies in a plethora of ways. They can stretch their limbs to absurd lengths, be flattened like a pancake, squeeze through small passageways, cartoonishly contort their body to hide behind objects they otherwise shouldn’t be able to, wrap their body around itself multiple times like a cinnamon roll and unwrap himself just as easily, enlarging parts of their bodies, and inflate like a balloon to float around. And we've seen Tweety himself being able to enlarge his hand and arm at least twice.

Regeneration / Immortality

Toons are famous for their regeneration of any physical harm done to them, and Tweety is no exception. Although we haven't seen him in many situations that require him to regenerate, we have seen him being able to regenerate moments later after being disintegrated by a laser that left nothing but his eyes and beak (Show Above), and he has managed to recover after being flattened like a pancake multiple times. Even if that wasn't the case, Tweety has the same Looney DNA as the other toons, so it makes sense that he could regenerate from the same things other toons could (especially Sylvester).

They can survive being flattened, folded, cut in half (both vertically and horizontally), have every bone in their body broken, their entire body being cut into pieces, being shredded, explosions, disintegrated, liquidation, being melted into a puddle, be molded into a different shape or form, being turned into a puzzle, or being torn apart or blowing up to nothingness. And no matter the severity of the damage, they too can regenerate instantly.

The limit of what a Toon can come back from is practically nonexistent, Bugs himself said that they can survive practically anything. Be reduced to nothing (skin, a brain or any organs) but a skeleton (they can even remove all that at will, leaving only their skeleton), having their spirits destroyed, being erased from existence, they can even rely on being brought back from the memories and laughter of others or the animator because as long as there is someone to remember them or reanimate them, a toon cannot go for good.

Martial Arts

Tweety has shown himself to be able to fight directly hand-to-hand many times in the past against characters much larger than him. And not only is he a mindless brawler, Tweety has been shown to know actual fighting styles such as Boxing, Wrestling, Karate, Judo, and Ninjutsu.

Although we don't know the specifics and styles of these techniques, we know that Tweety is an expert in them apart from the fact that he beats a lot of people. He is a Pro Boxer who defeated Porky Pig in a match even though he cheated, knew karate instantly while Sylvester had to train very hard to be black belt, and even easily defeated an old martial arts master and admitted to being a black belt in ninjutsu.

Mechanic and Engineer

Unexpectedly, Tweety has consistently shown himself to be very good with mechanical and engineering work. He has been seen working as a mechanic and with knowledge of how to handle construction equipment (that would become more noticeable in Bugs Bunny Builders), can dismantle an entire vehicle easily, and can modify his cage to give it more technological advances.

Not only that, but Tweety has been shown to be able to build robots, instantly knows how to use complex technology he's never seen before, can outsmart AI by exploiting its weaknesses, built a machine that can predict someone's future, as a Looney Builder he has built with the team many stuff from a carousel and a house to a spaceship and a space station, and even in the DC/Looney Tunes crossover Tweety was the one who dismantled a mechanical dragon in the inside created by The Toyman.

The Toyman's inventions are very impressive, he can make a toy-sized tank carry a real cannon, create minifigures with a lot of tech inside them, Sleeping bags that turn into walking bears, funny enough not so different from the technology we see in the Looney Tunes Universe. But we know for a fact that the technology of the DC universe is much more advanced compared to the technology of our world, and Tweety was able to dismantle it.

Teleportation

There have been multiple occasions where Tweety has moved from one place to another in a way that could not be explained in any other way than teleportation.

Tweety uses his teleportation more to move from one place to another, from the inside to the outside, he can do it in plain sight, to multiple locations consecutively, do it in close places like drains and bureau doors, teleport things to places they weren't before, he can even teleport to closed places at distances that he definitely wasn't even close to before.

Mind Manipulation

Tweety learned how to Hypothesize from a book. To achieve this, Tweety has to speak clearly and slowly to the subject and repeat the command multiple times, until the hypnotism is completely achieved.

Once the subject is completely hypnotized, Tweety can ask them to do anything with a single command, such as putting them to sleep immediately (Show Above), and asking them to do any command he wants.

Mind Reading

Although not shown using telepathy in the more traditional sense, Tweety has been shown to be able to see things inside Sylvester's thought bubble (Show Above). Sylvester also imagined Tweety as a Shrimp and he called him out for it, he was even able to see the Halo that Sylvester imagined above him and interact with it.

Duplication

Many Toons have shown the ability to naturally duplicate themselves, we see Tweety do the same thing in the cover of this Looney Tunes comic. Toon duplicates all seem to work in a high-mind kind of thing, working together to accomplish the one goal they have, yet they show dependence on each other.

Non-Physical Interaction

Tweety is able to touch things that normally couldn't be touched because they are intangible things. He has sat on clouds (Show Above), interacted with Sylvester's imaginary halo, Sylvester can even move fog like curtains or a door.

Immersion

Toons can hop on and interact with 2D pictures like drawings, paintings, and even TVs, we even have seen Tweety doing this twice.

Even Sylvestre, someone Tweety should be comparable to, can interact with his own reflection in a mirror as if they were another individual, being able to physically touch it and bring it to his dimension.

The Power of Positive Thinking / Confidence

Tweety read a book about it, in which he learned how to change his present image, how to be taller by thinking he was taller, or speak authoritatively to command respect. Tweety tried the latter on Sylvester and it worked, doing everything Tweety asked of him to do.

Unfortunately this technique is only for one use, as Sylvester got rid of the book before Tweety could learn how to keep the power of positive thinking, and lost the authority he had over Sylvester. But that is in others, when used on itself, Tweety can make itself faster, stronger, and even invulnerable if he believes in himself. It worked for Wile in the comics and for him and the rest of the Toons in Space Jam.

The Canary Cry

Yes, in the Catwoman/Tweety and Sylvester comic, Tweety shows that he can use The Canary Cry, the same superpower as DC's Black Canary that allows them to make powerful screams, similar to things that Tweety and other canaries have shown capable of doing in the past.

Tweety can scream loud enough to break glass, that takes 100-105 decibels to do so, can also activate a Tear Gas with his scream, which although not calculable, can at least be given 200 decibels. And with all of that, there's no reason not to believe that it's as strong as Black Canary's own Canary Cry, which can reach up to 300 Decibels.

Painting

Tweety is an impressive artist, being able to make paintings so realistic that they fooled Sylvester twice.

This is important because if a toon's drawing ability is good enough to fool another toon, those drawings can become real, being able to enter the painting, have things come out of it, or even have the drawings come to life. This can be used to damage enemies or seal them into the painting, and liquidate them.

4th Wall Awareness / Breaking

Typically in his shorts Tweety starts by saying his famous line 'I tawt I taw a puddy tat' to the audience and ending the shorts by saying a witty or funny closing line.

His talks and knowledge of the fourth wall are not limited to talking to the audience, he knows the title of the comic is in, how much time is left in the episode he’s in, can request subtitles to understand a character and read them, knows what happens to characters off-screen and that they can return as recurring characters, and can talk over clips from different cartoons on commercials. He breaks the fourth wall so much that even Sylvester acknowledges it.

Toons can break the fourth wall so much they can with great ease go from their cartoon world into our real world. We know that Tweety can also do this since we see him in the real world with the other toons.

Resistances

Forms

Jerry

Berserk Mode

When Jerry channels his rage or sees someone he cares too much like Nibbles suffer, Jerry enters into a sort of temporary Super Form where he immediately becomes super intimidating, incredibly strong, and when he's done with whoever he just beat up, they do whatever he wants.

In the game Tom & Jerry: War of the Whiskers, this rage can also restore health overtime and is unable to take any damage until his form runs out.

Wild Mouse

This is a wilder version of the mouse, although rather than a Tasmanian Devil type, it is more like a Tarzan mouse, connected to nature, its creatures, and being able to swing from vines.

Despite that, Wild Mouse still has an insatiable appetite, moves so fast it makes him look like a blur, and he doesn't sacrifice any of his wit in this form.

Seven Rainbow-Colored Jerries.

This occurred when Jerry ate a rare colored cheese that Tom had for some reason, causing him to split into seven different colored versions of himself, now helping Tom with his restaurant for... reasons.

Each colorful Jerry has a different personality between them; Jerry Black is the cool and savvy one who has everything under control, Jerry Green is the serious and kind one who makes sure everything is organized, Jerry Red who is always running, Jerry Pink who is always sleeping, Jerry Purple who loves to make jokes in the kitchen, Jerry Yellow who loves to eat everything in the kitchen, and finally there is Jerry Mouse who... is just regular Jerry.

Monster Jerry

Transformed for... unknown reasons (It just kinda happens), Jerry transforms into Monster Jerry, a bigger, stronger, and more ferocious version of himself. It is not known how strong this makes Jerry, whether he loses some of his intelligence when transforming, or... how he transformed in the first place, but it is known that with enough hits or losing a fight Jerry can return to normal.

Tweety

The Ghost of Christmas Past

In ‘Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas’, he and Granny took the roles of the Ghosts of Christmas Past. As a ghost Tweety gains a wide variety of powers, it gives him levitation, intangibility while still being able to touch others, invisibility, teleportation, Immseron to TVs, carry things inside said TVs, temporarily turn others into ghosts like him, and being able to travel back in time to someone's past (It’s a Christmas Carol story after all).

Monster Tweety

This is one of the most famous and most used forms of Tweety, after taking a Hyde Formula, be sprayed by an experimental soda, be shot by a Giganto-Ray, eat a Wackyland cupcake, or fall into a vat of an unidentified blue liquid, Tweety becomes this giant and monstrous version of itself.

In this form, Tweety increases at least 20 times his own size (but it varies depending on who draws it), so big that he can eat Sylvester with a single bite and his tears are capable to flood Wackyland, becomes even stronger, being able beat Sylvester without problem, even when using armor, he becomes so frightening that when someone sees him they fall into pieces and lose their color out of fear, and he gets all this without sacrificing his speed, being able to fly, and even have his ability to speak to a degree.

Unfortunately tweety changed between his normal form and his monstrous form at random and Tweety cannot control when that happen, and while we don't know if Tweety maintains his intelligence or even awareness when it transforms, we know that Tweety does not know when he transforms, so it is unlikely.

Pterodactyl Tweety

In the alternate ending of 'Looney Tunes: Back in Action,' Tweety is hit by The Blue Monkey Diamond, a supernatural gem with the ability to de-evolve anyone touched by it to varying degrees, but mostly turn them into monkeys, turning him into a giant Pterodactyl monster who maintains his ability to fly, talk, and is big enough to eat Mr. Chairman in a single bite.

Now, you may think I shouldn't include this on the blog since this was a deleted ending to the movie and therefore not something that came out under WB officially. But the thing is that a children's book came out retelling the story of the movie and it ends with this same alternative ending, so it's official and that's why I'm including it here.

Frankentweety

When Sylvester was working with a mad scientist to switch the minds of creatures with others, he captured Tweety and the scientist transported his body to Frankentweety. In this form Tweety is 50 times his own size (the best I could calc with these), and with the brain transfer it seems that Tweety still has his intelligence in it.

The only downside is that this body has body parts assembled together that can be removed relatively easily.

This… Thing

So… this… doesn't have a name. Okay, so, the spirits of the royal birds appear in front of Tweety, Sylvester and Queen Aoogah after being freed from Diego's Boa, they gather all the feathers possible in one play, ensuring that Diego's magic is nothing compared to the family bond that they have, making them 3000 times stronger together.

Resulting in Tweety, Sylvester and Aoogah merging and turning into… this… thing. The three of them seem to have perfect synchronization with each other, and can easily beat Diego when before they couldn't hurt him at all (With the help of their family, of course), altogether being able to do a huge laser finisher that beat Diego for good with the power of family.

Unfortunately this is something that Tweety can’t do it alone, he needed the help of Sylvester, Aoogah, and the rest of his family to obtain this form and all its power, and is unlikely that Tweety will be able to get all the feathers of his ancestors from his back, since upon being freed from the Boa they left, to the afterlife, I think. So this form is something that Tweety can't possibly do on his own, I'm only mentioning it here so you know it exists.

Experience, Skill & Intelligence

Jerry

Despite his appearance, Jerry is more intelligent, cunning, and even manipulative than one would expect. Jerry has been around for a long time, since prehistoric times, doing the same song and dance with Tom every time. He has also lived through multiple time periods such as The Roman Empire, Medieval Period, 17th Century, 20th century, The American Revolution, The Wild West, and The Great War. There is even more direct confirmation that Jerry has been alive for 50 years, 104 years, and even 980 years. And in all those years of life, Jerry has outwitted cats his entire life, he even has a diploma to teach that, in addition to Tom, Jerry has shown himself capable of fighting several cats at the same time. Besides Cats, Jerry had to deal against ants, termites, fleas, crabs, fish, other mice, dogs, foxes, exterminators, professional mouse catchers, lions, thieves, evil millionaires, monsters, martians, pirates, giants, robots, witches, flying monkeys, the cat king, several famous pop culture villains such as James Moriarty, The Wicked Witch of the West, Prince John, Dr. Zin, and many more.

During his life Jerry has been many things; basketball, soccer, ping pong, shot put, tennis, bowler, and hockey player, Olympic athlete, professional motorcyclist, sprinter, gardener, accountant, secretary, mover, construction worker, hotel bellboy, mover, grocery store manager, shofer, waiter, DJ, chef, pet vet, roller skater, ice skater, cyclist, dentist, theater performer, music conductor, farmer, scout leader, police, actor, forest ranger, bullfighter, rock star, trapeze artist, painter's muse, stunt double, clown, cowboy, outlaw, courier, sailor, soldier, secret agent, masked vigilante, desert bandit, captain pirate, sheriff, royal knight, slave, slave owner, superhero, spy, santa’s helper, magician, Robin Hood, Tarzan, post-apocalypse survivor, astronaut, space captain, and even king. But there are a couple of  things in Jerry's life that need to be highlighted.

He has been a Musketeer since he was a kid, expert in the use of the sword and in combat, always fighting and outsmarting Tom at every opportunity to get food. In the comics he, Nibbles, and Tom work for the king of the kingdom of Charmant, and in addition to training with each other constantly, they are dedicated to working for said king. The jobs vary, from defending the castle from some type of invader, getting an item or creature to the king, or simply doing him a favor like scratching his back or making him something delicious to eat. The most common thing Jerry did was save the king from Tom himself, who always had some kind of plan to kill the king and get the crown from him.

He also had a big history as a detective, besides having his own detective agency, he and Tom have their own Cat & Mouse detective agency. They’ve got plenty of cases in their career minimum over 40, from finding a stolen item, proving the innocence of someone accused of a crime they did not commit, to the arrest of criminals, he even works with Sherlock Holmes himself. In the scary land of Transylvanian he is known as Van Mousling and is a renowned monster hunter who is dedicated to defending a small city from any terrifying monster that attacks him (Which is usually Tom who for one reason or another is turned into a Monster), he has faced vampires, the monster of Frankenstein, mummies, zombies, werewolves, an invisible cat, giant spiders, a lake monster, Yeti, a Blob monster, ghost pirates, and a huge etc.

In reality Jerry has a ton of experiences and skills in his life, he received military training, was on a year's journey around the world, had astronaut training to go to space, worked alongside important fictional figures such as Sherlock Holmes and Robin Hood, worked alongside a mad scientist doing experiments with him, earned the reputation of 'The Magnificent' In Spain, made a robot fall in love with him, he is even capable of crossing an entire labyrinth with traps with his eyes closed.

Jerry can escape from Tom very well by nature, literally, since Cats chasing Mice and Mice running away from Cats are in their DNA, with the feud existing since prehistoric times, there is even Chase Schools where Cats and Mice go to learn the art of chasing and where Jerry was invited to teach the class, and although it's never been confirmed, we can assume that Jerry has gone to one of these schools, possibly where he got his Outwitting Cats diploma.

With such a lengthy lifespan, experience, nature, and learning, it would be natural that Jerry would have a lot of intelligence, and he sure is a smart little mouse. In addition to his previously mentioned school education, Jerry has also been seen checking medicine, can make both a bird trap and a cat trap, use a mouse trap to his advantage, built a whole system to get food into his mouse hole, escape from being tied with ropes with one hand, managed to win a cat competition (being a mouse), was able to exploit the design flaws of a cat robot, and in general he can come up with plans and ideas in a matter of seconds often improvising with whatever gets into his hands at the time.

In addition to the chemical talent mentioned previously, Jerry is also very well versed in mechanical stuff. He can combine a motorcycle with a mower, hack complex devices, figure out how to use technology he's never used before like an exterminating machine or a home automation system, build a car of his size out of trash and an electrical box, and build basic robots.

But the most impressive displays of intelligence Jerry has shown are all the times he has outsmarted and outwitted Tom. He and Tom have this evenly rivalry where both are shown as equal. And that’s impressive because, in addition to doing the same things that Jerry has done, Tom has been shown to be a expert in the use of reverse psychology, a master of planning and trickery, enough knowledge in engineering to create amazing traps and more impressive robots that Jerry have built, made a super computer with nothing but scrap and junk, and he even made a working space shuttle that was able to take him to the moon all by himself.

And Jerry, besides being shown as an equal to Tom, has also been shown to be intellectually superior, out smashing him an uncountable number of times, and not just in escaping from Tom; he made Tom believe that his arm had been cut off, that Tom was listening to different radio stations when it was just Jerry talking inside the radio, that he had increased in size with a magnifying glass, with a bat made Tom believe that he was death and was now a ghost hunting him, made Tom believe that he is being haunted by ghosts and living skulls, that it was raining inside, and even managed to trick Tom into building a skyscraper with his face on top.

Tweety

Despite his innocent air, Tweety is more intelligent, cunning, and even more experienced than one would expect. Tweety is older than you (and Sylvester) would think, and in those years he has done several things. He has been pursued by Sylveste since prehistoric times, living through multiple time periods such as The Roman Empire, The American Revolution, The Wild West, The Civil War, and WWII. When he was still young and his feathers hadn't even come out yet, he had already dealt with several cats in his life. Cats had so many problems catching him, that they formed militaries focused on catching Tweety, and they still kept failing. In addition to cats, Tweety has also faced off against dangerous criminals, a genius, Daffy Duck a couple of times, and even a seven-century-old sorcerer dog named Diego who tried to conquer the Canary Islands with powerful magic.

During his life Tweety has been many things; basketball, baseball, golf, soccer, and volleyball player, professional boxer, Olympic athlete, sprinter, carrier pigeon, even during two wars, theater performer, mechanic, Lion tamer, belly dancer, mine watchman, roller skater, ice skater, referee, sports team mascot, rock star, fish canneries lookout, personal trainer, prison guard, doctor/vet, firefighter, chef, train driver, plane pilot, fashion show host, American Revolution informant, zoo exhibit, soldier, foreign legion soldier, global patrol ranger, a dog, cowboy, astronaut, superhero, Santa Claus helper, and even King. But there are a couple of Tweety's careers that need to be highlighted.

Together with Granny he has solved several mysteries traveling around the world, from finding lost things to dealing with dangerous criminals, although it is true that Granny was the one who investigated the mystery and Tweety only found clues by accident when fleeing from Sylvester, Tweety has shown his own abilities of reasoning and research on many occasions when he is in that position, so much so that he has solved a couple of mysteries by himself. He is so good at stopping crimes that he has been able to outsmart a notorious criminal who kidnapped him in the first place, and stop a robbery by accident when Sylvester tried to frame him for a crime.

As previously stated, thanks to his work as a Mechanic and additionally working as Looney Builder, Tweety also is an expert in construction, mechanics, and robotics. Tweety has created many robots, knows the use of any type of technology, and can build everything from a house to a space station.

And like the rest of the Looney Tunes Cast, Tweety is an in-universe actor (Note: This does not at all imply that the feats in the show are fake. The Toons actively take damage from these feats), and he has become one of the most popular Looney Tunes in a very short period of time and without much effort (In and Out of universe). He has gained so much success and power in Hollywood that he became the president of Big Deal Studios.

With all that experience will also come intelligence, and Tweety sure has a ton of intelligence. He calls himself ''The Smartest Tweety Bird in the World'', and Sylvester agrees about his massive intelligence. He can be seen studying Cat-Onomy 101, can outsmart Sylvester on a daily basis, who can build robots, knows about chemistry, and devises plans to trap Tweety all the time. He has enough general knowledge to recognize a Time Warp just by seeing it, he can make his own traps against Sylvester, knows how to use Sylvester's obsession with him to his advantage to accomplish an unrelated thing, knows how to use the environment to his advantage, to think of new plans at the spot, he's even able to see Sylvester through his disguise, and Sylvester's disguises are good enough to fool everybody else.

The greatest use of Tweety's intelligence is his ability to manipulate others, using his natural cuteness to his advantage, he can make anyone protect him from Sylvester's attacks, with him not having to do anything and everyone else working for him without them realizing it. Tweety is still a master manipulator even without using his cuteness, like when he convinced Sylvester that he had psychic powers, or when he made Henery Hawk believe that Sylvester was a chicken, made Sylvester believe that Taz's mind was in his body for a long time, Tweety is even fully capable of using blackmail to get others to do whatever he wants, or else.

Scaling

Jerry

Tom Cat

He is the second titular character of the Tom & Jerry franchise, the number 1 rival that Jerry has had to deal with for so many decades. No matter if it is in chases, fights, outsmarting, requiring a special device, a transformation, or simply nothing, Tom and Jerry have been shown to always be on the same level with each other, constantly fighting as equals. So it would be crazy not to scale Jerry to Tom.

  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Durability

Villains and Antagonist

In the history of Tom and Jerry, the cat and mouse duo have faced several formidable foes multiple times, even though Jerry has not defeated them all with punches or direct confrontation, he has at least helped in their defeat in one way or another (either that or they've beaten Tom really badly), so it makes sense to scale the mouse to them.

Other Tom & Jerry Characters

The Tom and Jerry franchise during its history has featured many colorful characters. Jerry has fought many of them, he has also interacted as shown as equal to others, or simply by his own feats he’s superior to many of them, so they should be comparable to him in one way or another.

  • He should scale to Butch, who:
  • He should scale to Spike, who:
  • Comparable to Barney Bear, who:
  • Comparable to Droopy, who:

Tweety

Sylvester

The Puddy Tat himself. Sylvester has been the main and most consistent antagonist that Tweety has had in its more than 80 years of existence. Tweety has escaped him in every chase they have had, Tweety has harmed him in multiple ways, and as Monster Tweety he has become even stronger than Sylvester, even normal Tweety can overpower him. Like a lot. So obviously we would have to scale Tweety with the cat's best feats.

  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Durability

Tasmanian "Taz" Devil

Surprisingly, there have been many occasions when Sylvester and Tweety have encountered and interacted with Taz. Although mainly in the comics, they have fled from Taz with him barely catching up to them, fought him in a box for hours, Tweety even knocking out Taz with a single punch. So it makes complete sense to scale Sylvester, and of course Tweety, to the best feats made by the Demon of Down Under.

Other Looney Tunes

Tweety and even Sylvester have been seen interacting with the rest of the Looney Tunes Cast multiple times, mostly in the comics, but in cartoons we have had Sylvester interact with Elmer Fudd, Forgorn Legorn, Porky Pig, and Daffy Duck. With Tweety even interacting with Daffy Duck and Porky Pig once and beating them, and Daffy and Porky directly scale to the rest of the Looney Tune characters, so scaling Tweety with the rest of the Toons makes sense.

Speaking of:

  • He should scale to Wile E. Coyote, who;
  • He should scale to Porky Pig, who;
  • He should scale to Daffy Duck, who;
  • He should scale to Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd, who;

Weaknesses

Jerry

Jerry is quite powerful for what one would think of a small mouse, but he is very far from perfect. In fact, Jerry has a surprisingly long record of, for all intents and purposes, losing against Tom or being at his mercy, so he can abuse him as much as he wants. This is due to many factors; the most common is the confidence that Jerry has, he is always one step ahead of everyone, which makes him think he always will be, giving him a bit of a relaxed attitude when doing his stuff that someone smart enough could take advantage of to capture him or attack him. Jerry also has a tendency to trust animals that he just met right away if they give him a good first impression, regardless of whether they are small creatures like him or huge ones, so that could be used against him for a surprise attack.

Other weaknesses that Jerry has are that he is still a little mouse, requiring planning, distraction, and evasion when it comes to going against enemies bigger than a human, since he does not have the best record against large enemies in direct confrontations. Jerry is also not very good at dealing with bad luck; although he doesn't have as much bad luck as Tom does, when Jerry, for one reason or another, gets bad luck, it is always too much for him and he usually looks for a way to fix it, he also, has a consistent fear of ghosts.

Finally, Jerry likes cheese, he likes cheese a lot. He always goes out of his way to get cheese, always gets distracted when he sees cheese, and has fallen into so many traps that use cheese as bait. Although he is not as obsessed with cheese, he is always a devilish way to deal with Jerry.

Tweety

Tweety is more impressive than one would think, but it still has his share of shortcomings. This is something incredibly inconsistent in his appearances but it is still important to point out, and is that Tweety has presented himself as a weak little canary who depends on his cage and the protection of Granny, Hector, or any other person and animal to stay away from Sylvester's claws, once in the cat's hands, Tweety can do very little to escape him (Again, in the times when Tweety is not presented as super capable of protecting himself).

Another more consistent weakness is that Tweety can be distracted very easily, he can be caught unprepared while eating, swinging in his cage, singing to himself, or see something that is shiny or cute. There have been many times where Sylvester casually catches Tweety by being off guard for a second and could have eaten him if it weren't for outside help or Tweety being able to survive inside Sylvester's stomach (And that’s why we chew our food kids). Another small things, Tweety's innocence can come to the point of automatically trusting anyone who isn't very scary looking, and Tweety is afraid of various things like scary places, ghosts, and dinosaur bones.

In terms of more general weaknesses that affect all Toons, we know that the Looney DNA and the Tooniness, the two factors that give Toons all their abilities and make them Toons in the first place, can be modified and removed from them. In the case of Looney DNA, an Anti-Looney DNA Serum can be created that renders a Toon unable to regenerate (but does not kill them), indicating that the Looney DNA can be modified, and the Tooniness can be removed with a machine specially designed for that, taking away all of the Toons' powers and turning them into boring husks of themselves, indicating that Tooniness can be remove.

Before We Get to the Verdict

Where are the others?

If you've seen any Jerry or Tweety cartoons, you know that they are mostly protected by someone else. Although it's most prominently with Tweety, Jerry has been protected by Spike multiple times by using a bell to call him in an emergency.

The reason they're not included in the blog is for a number of reasons, in Spike's case it's because he doesn't spend all of his appearances protecting Jerry, he's only done it when he owes him a favor, the bell is just a normal bell that can be silenced like any other bell, and there have even been MANY occasions where Spike has been an antagonist to Jerry that he and Tom have had to deal with together. In the case of Granny and Hector for Tweety, Tweety can't summon them with any kind of Item, Tweety has been with them 24/7, so they can protect them more easily than if they lost contact with him, and in the case of this Match-Up they will do so (This also goes for the animal one-offs like elephants, rhinos, lions and vultures that have protected them for a single cartoon, Jerry and Tweety can't summon them and they only appeared in a single cartoon).

Under Death Battle rules and other rules other VS Blogs have made, they would be considered ''Outside help'' for the characters. The only way they could have assistance is if the characters ''own'' them in some way, or if they have scientific or magical methods to call upon the character to help them.

This blog is ''Jerry Mouse VS Tweety Bird'', not ''Jerry and Spike VS Tweety, Granny and Hector along with tons of animals.'' We are here to see between these two characters, who would win a fight between the two on their own merits.

Scaling Tweety with the other Toons

Alright, you may have noticed that in Tweety's scaling section I omitted some characters. I'll explain why that is.

During the making of this blog my perception of scaling toons has changed a lot, given that toons interact so much with each other, it makes sense that they can scale to the same things between them. However, I found three unique cases of Toons which should not be scaled to other Toons, especially Tweety; The Speeds of The Roadrunner and Speedy Gonzales and Bugs Bunny in general. Here’s why:

First the simplest thing to explain, The Roadrunner and Speedy have been presented multiple times as the fastest Toons of the cast, and although characters like Wile and Sylvester have shown themselves capable of keeping up with them at their casual speeds, when they go to their full speeds, no one can match them, requiring inventions or outside help to even keep up with them.

In the case of Speedy and Tweety, although they have interacted multiple times, nothing they have done together could justify scaling in Speed, one time Speedy carried Tweety with his cage to move around fast and another time Speedy saved Tweety from something falling towards him which he couldn't dodge. Even Bugs Bunny, the king of Toons, needs special pills to be able to reach speeds similar to those of the Roadrunner, indicating that they are something he cannot do by himself.

Speaking of Bugs, maybe you've noticed the lack of Bugs on this blog, considering he's the biggest Toon of the cast and has a ton of impressive feats like fill up the Grand Canyon with dirt in seconds, survive all of reality being drained into his hole (And  literally paints it back), his rocket left the milky way and entered the nearest black hole, was launched through time, he can burrow into another universe and the 25th century, and even having his completely erased.

If Bugs has done all this, shouldn't it mean that all the other Toons should scale to the same? Well, after researching I have noticed that Bugs is more the exception than the rule in the world of Looney Tunes, first, Bugs has been shown multiple times living in luxurious mansions while the other Toons are shown living pretty basic lives, even in their status as in-universe celebrity actors. I think this is due to his status at Warner Bros. in being the top dog, where his word matters more than the executives. A clear example of this is that he can resist transmutation, but he does because his contract says that he cannot be anything other than a rabbit. If that's not enough evidence, another example is Bugs saying that he is Looney enough to be immune to angst, which would mean that he is immune to feeling anxiety or dread, but we have seen multiple times other Toons being completely capable of feeling some form of angst, indicating that Bugs is on another level compared to the other Toons. I hope that with all this I have made my point.

Although it makes sense to scale Tweety to the best feats of other Toons like Elmer, Sam, Porky, Wile, Even Daffy, I think that those three cases are special because each Toon has a special ability, Roadrunner and Speedy have their speed, and Bugs Bunny has his everything else. That's just stats wise, But when it comes to abilities and hax? well…

The lack of resistance and hax for both

If you have read the blogs of Tom and Wile, you may have noticed that there are hax and abilities on those blogs that are not present in this and here I will explain why.

First, Jerry and Tweety have never shown resistance to mind control.

Jerry somewhat resisting Jayla Bug’s dancing in the ‘Back to Oz’ movie is not an example of mind control, but rather Body Puppetry. This is since it is seen that Tom, Jerry and the rest of the characters controlled by this dance effect still are aware of their actions and not wanting to do them, and if that is not enough evidence, Jalyla Bug can make objects dance even if they don’t have minds. Not to mention there are times when Jerry has been more directly mind controlled and he could not resist that. The same goes for Tweety, although we have seen other Toons resist Mind Control, Tweety has never demonstrated that, in fact, in ‘Autumn's Leaving’ we see Tweety directly be controlled by Witch Hazel's love position.

Another big one is Transmutation Resistance for Tweety. One would think that Tweety could resist that since he has come back form Diego's magic, that can transmute the characters into pretty much anything, and they return to normal instantly. But I think that this is more part of Diego's magic rather than the characters resisting the effects, we even see the same magic returning them to normal after being transformed. Another example of Tweety not being able to resist transmutation? The plot of the videogame ‘Tweety & The Magic Gems’ consists of Tweety being transformed into stone and The Queen of the Deep Dark Woods having to gather a group of Toons to collect The Magic Gems and use their magic to prevent Tweety from turning into stone forever. So, yeah.

Why doesn't Tweety have all the abilities of other Toons?

To be more specific on the topic of Tweety here, with Jerry I can say that he does not have this ability or that ability because he simply has not shown that ability, but with Tweety more explanation is required. Wile's blog describes many abilities and how Toon Force works for Looney Tunes. If you want more detailed information, go read it there, since all I would do is copy and paste. But basically the Looney DNA and the Tooniness are the things that give a Toon their comic potential, but not their abilities. There are some abilities that Toons share with each other such as regeneration, breaking the fourth wall, and hammerspace.

But the existence of ACME Looniversity, or ACME Loo for short, a school in which all Toons go to learn how to harness their abilities, tells us that the powers demonstrated by the Looney Tunes are not unique to each individual character but are more so abilities that are capable of being done by any Toon within their world with enough practice.

Some abilities need more training to be able to pull off, such as the ‘Wild Take.’ Here we see Bugs insisting on “learning the basics” and getting down some of the easier-to-grasp comical overreactions, while here we see the risks of a novice Toon overexerting themselves doing a Wild Take they haven’t practiced enough. And learning these skills is not as simple as reading a manual, in 'Tooney Ball Light' we see that the class to learn to use the Anvil, one of the most used items by Toons, is the hardest elective at ACME Loo, requiring knowledge on macroeconomics, physics, quantum mechanics, and Ancient Greek to become a Master Toon and use the Anvil to its fullest capabilities.

So, why wouldn't we say that Tweety is one of these ''Master Toons'' and with all the Toon knowledge? Well, the most obvious thing is that he hasn't shown to have many other abilities that other Toons have shown, so it's possible that's because he doesn't have them. But you might have said, we've seen Tweety use the Anvil in a variety of ways in the past, so he should be a ''Toons Master,'' right? Well, we've seen several Toons who haven't taken this elective still being able to use the anvil in a variety of ways, and the class is about learning how to use the anvil to its full capacity, not how to use it in the first place. But if Tweety is a teacher at ACME Loo, wouldn't he have to know everything Looney related to teach classes? The thing is, we've never seen Tweety as a teacher in ACME, we've seen him in small cameos in Tiny Toons, but the most he's done in terms of teaching is as a private tutor to his prodigy Sweetie Bird, not like a teacher who teaches an entire class like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, or Elmer Fudd. Besides, being a classic or famous Toon and working at ACME Loo does not guarantee that they work as teachers, like Pete Puma being the janitor or Lola Bunny being the school cafeteria cook.

In short, being a Toon doesn't immediately give you such advanced powers that all the others possess.

DC Scaling?

That's right, I'm going to debunk scaling Looney Tunes with the DC universe, this hill is quite comfortable and I'm going to die on it.

Now, at first glance, this might seem like a can of words on the surface, but it's simpler than one would think. The Looney Tunes never do anything to justify the scaling to the DC heralds, or at least, not all of them. In the main Superman & Bugs Bunny crossover and the mini issues where they crossover again, The Looney Tunes more often team up with the DC characters than face them in fights. The few times it has happened has been with street level characters like Batman, Damian Wayne, and Catwoman. Who the Looney Tunes are more powerful anyway.

The only times a Looney Tune is comparable to a herald are things Tweety couldn't scale to. Like Wally West not being able to catch up to the Roadrunner, since we've already established that Tweety doesn't scale at the Roadrunner's speeds, and although Marvin managed to hurt the Martian ManHunter, he only achieved that with his arsenal, which has been shown to be able to one-shot any other Looney Tunes.

But what about Mr. Mxyzptlk? You may ask, after all, Mxy was overwhelmed when he arrived in the Looney Tunes universe and was crushed by Daffy Duck and almost eaten by Taz, so the entire Looney Tunes cast, and therefore Tweety, should scale to the higher ends of the DC universe, right? After all, Mxy says that he is the same in every appearance of his in the multiverse. Well, Mxy says on that same page that every time he fights Superman he makes Superman believe that he outsmarted him to say his name backwards, indicating that Mxy nerf himself in their confrontations for one reason or another. It is possible that this same thing has happened in his confrontation with the Looney Tunes... Except with Dodo Bird, who Mxy directly fought and showed himself as an equal to.

But the thing is that Dodo Bird has always been a Toon superior to all the others, more Looney than even the Looniest Toons. He is the resident of Wackyland, a place completely crazy and insane that defies any kind of logic and reason, even by Looney Tunes standards. Not only does he live there, but he also seems to have complete control of the place, modifying the place to whatever he wants and controlling other Toons to play the roles he wants them to play, including Bugs Bunny himself. In some ways Wackyland is comparable to Mxy's own Fifth Dimension, Dodo Bird even says that the DC universe fits him very well. So Mxy's confrontation with Dodo is more comparable to the battles Mxy has had with other beings like Bat-Mite than with a normal and standard Looney Tune.

The only Looney Tune that should fully and without problem scale to a DC Herald would be Bugs Bunny in his Super-Rabbit/Super-Bugs form, since in this form Bugs is comparable in many ways to the main canon Superman. But like I said, Bugs is too unique of a Looney Tune for any other Toon (especially Tweety) to scale to that.

I don’t say that scaling Looney Tunes with DC is something non-existent, but it's not as simple as saying that each and every Looney Tune scales to the Heralds of DC, it all depends on context. If you've read the blog you know that even I gave Tweety a couple of things from the DC crossovers, but nothing from the higher ends of DC should be applied to him or should be a factor in deciding the winner of this Matchup.

Verdicts

Stats

Okay, this part is the most confusing of all to decide. If you have seen Tom and Wile's blogs you will know that they can reach multiverse tears with the characters of both sides, but I don't think (personally) that Jerry and Tweety should fulling scale to that, although I didn't say that they shouldn't scale at all, let's start with durability and regeneration.

Normally, I would look at the best durability feats of both to see who is more durable. But there is no point in these two.

Seriously, the biggest calcs of both of their durability would still be a massive lowball. Both can or can scale to surviving massive explosions, being launched great distances, falling in ridiculous heights, etc. They should scale to characters that can tank the destruction of moons, planets, the sun, multiple suns creating constellations, and even to characters who can destroy or survive the destruction of the galaxy and universe. Even universal durability would still be a lowball for both of them, as they can or scale to characters who can literally break the fourth wall, cut the cartoon leaving a white void, Hell, scaling them to only Tom and Sylvester, they can still survive launches that literally shattered or physically move the medium they were in, and explosions so big that they can send them to the past or to another dimension. Their durability is more than infinite, and is basically incalculable.

And if for some reason they end up taking damage, their cartoony regeneration will return them to normal. Thanks to Jerry's survival feats and Tweety's Looney Tunes DNA they can both survive the same things; being crushed, cut into pieces, shredded, burned to ashes, frozen, cut in half, liquefied, a huge etc., and still be able to come back from it all in seconds. They are even still alive being nothing but skeletons, without their spirits in their bodies, from their spirits being destroyed, they can even come back from nowhere by someone animating them. I mean, Jerry is Poof from existence and can come back in a completely new body, while Tweety can't truly die if he remains in the memories of others, but those are minor differences with the point still being that they can't die easily or normally.

So we have two characters who can virtually endure anything and come back from anything. Anyway, something more calculable is their strength and durability. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time in the VS community is that you can scale strength to durability but not durability to strength, just because a character can take a lot of damage doesn’t mean they can hit back with that same power, and both of their speed in their verses are also a bit easier to deal with in certain interpretations, so to decide who has the edge in stats, I’d have to look at strength and speed (Also, deciding the winner of this matchup is hard enough, give me a break, I made this whole blog by myself).

Now, Jerry can easily damage Tom in many of his appearances and with Tweety's Tooniness and Looney DNA he should be able to scale to the other strengths other Toons have shown in the past. With all that, there are two famous feats from both verses that are calculable, the time Tom (and Jerry) became a constellation, and the time Marvin the Martian and Yosemite Sam's fight during which they became constellations. Unfortunately it's hard to calculate these two constellation feats, the first because the stars turn on and off a lot, and it's hard to count the exact number, and the second because it's hard to tell which dots are stars and which are just dots connecting the stars to make the constellation.

But something easier to calculate would be Sylvester and Wile’s feats turning into constellations, which make sense for Tweety to scale since he can damage Sylvester on a regular basis and in ‘The Wild Chase’ Sylvester and Wile were shown to be equal in taking the same stuff. The first constellation comes in at 0.142598 Foe while the second comes in at 0.168387 Foe, both reaching Large Star Level. That combined with the fact that Tweety with The Canary Cry Tweety can produce 119 ronnatons (Dwarf Star Level), it makes sense that at his max Tweety can without question reach Large Star Level. But Jerry is a different story, since the best feat he could scale was done by himself, burping so loud that he shook the literally surrounding space, creating a force of 3.06E+49 Joules, reaching Solar System Level all by himself.

Now with speed, even without taking into account the Roadrunner and Speedy Gonzales feats for Tweety and the arguments of immeasurable speeds for both of them, both of their verses still have a ton of impressive speed feats, with dodging bullets, lighting, lasers, and traveling to different continents, countries, and parts of the universe in seconds, leading to almost all characters in both verses having Faster Than Light speeds by minimum standards. But who has the biggest FTL feats? Both Tom and Sylvester have feats about reaching the sun in seconds, which I thought would be interesting, but then I found out two feats done by Tweety and Jerry themselves that surpass almost everything they would scale. The most impressive thing Tweey has done in terms of speed is with his Crane traveling from Earth to Mars in 17 seconds, which would make it 44.20865 FTL. But unfortunately that's nothing compared to Jerry, who once reacted while traveling faster than a Spaceship that can travel to an exo-system in less than a day, which would put him at 11685.76 FTL.

In conclusion, despite both having the same amount of durability and immeasurable regeneration, Jerry easily takes this category by being 263 times faster and 1,817,242 times stronger than the best feats Tweety has done or can scale to. Of course this is just one interpretation of the durability, strength and speed of both of them, on Tom and Wile's blogs there are many good arguments for giving them besides immense durability, also immense strength and speed. The reason I didn't do this was for several reasons; I'm new to blog making and I didn't want to debate infinite VS infinite, I personally disagree with many of those arguments, I didn't want to turn this blog into Tom VS Wile 2.0, it's the kind of thing people don't like about Toon Force in VS debates, and surprisingly stats is only ONE of multiple factors to decide a winner.

Arsenal & Abilities

(Alright, get ready, this will be a long one)

When it comes to Arsenal & Abilities, 80% or 90% of them are almost dead even.

In terms of Arsenal, Jerry and Tweety have all the cartoony weapons you'd expect them to have, hammers, anvils, frying pans, scissors, every type of explosive possible, and a huge etc. even if there's a random item that for some reason the other never pulled out like a flamethrower or a nail gun, but it wouldn't be much of a stretch to think that they could pull one out with their Hammerspace which would also allow them access to their entire arsenal at all times. The key to seeing any kind of advantage in this section would be to look at their unique items, and how many of them cross over with their Abilities.

You would think that Tweety being able to fly would naturally give him an advantage in mobility and air combat maneuvering over Jerry, but in fact Jerry can counter that with his multiple gadgets and items that allow him to fly, from a Jetpack, Paper Wings, Magic Cake, a Superhero Cape and Suit that can also make him fly, the Magic Wand, a Magic Carpet, a Tiny Flying Broom, and a bunch of vehicles that allow him to fly (More on that later). So even if Tweety takes down one of the things that allows Jerry to fly, he still has like 20 other different things he can use to get back into the air, so they're both equal in that regard.

Both share several items with each other, Laser Guns, Costumes, potions that increase their strength, speed, durability, and stamina, Genie Lamps, a couple of robots, vehicles, and many fake versions of themselves. They have also been shown to have almost all the same abilities; teleportation, hammerspace, control of their bodies, elasticity, broken regeneration, being able to touch non-physical things, immersion (which they can also use to escape if they are trapped in paintings, which they can both do as well), duplication, mind reading, painting, escape to the real world, break the 4th wall, and the implication that they can do whatever they want. Even if they don't have the same ability they can counter it with some item, mentioned above Jerry can fly with multiple forms, but he also has a flute that allows him to control the mind that can counter Tweety's natural ability to control minds.

In terms of advantages and unique things for both, Tweety has a lot of useful stuff to go against Jerry; The Curse of the Bombay Rock and the Flea Circus could exploit Jerry's weakness to bad luck and fleas which we've seen him not deal with well in the past, both have gadgets that allow them to change each other's personalities to be less aggressive, but Tweety's Jerkyl Ray can be used from a distance while Jerry requires Tweety to drink the Pally Potion for it to work, he can put Jerry to sleep with the Gruesome Snooze Grains, suck out Jerry with the ACME Vac, dehydrate Jerry with the ACME Food Dehydrator, and he can use the Crated Cheese to exploit Jerry's love of cheese.

Unfortunately, Jerry takes the lead here in terms of items and abilities, for the most part. In terms of special stuff in general Jerry has more in quantity, and it has many things that Tweety can't counter like the Vanishing Cream and the Invisible Ink that can make him invincible, the Hamster Ball that can protect him from any attack, the Bubble Pen that can distract Tweety and confuse his vision, the Lightsaber which is a Lightsaber, the rings of power and Question Mark Power-ups that gives Jerry various Super Powers, the Experimental Super Cookies that increases his size and makes him stronger by a bit, and the Gravitron that removes the gravity from the room they are in.

There are also many abilities that Jerry has shown that we haven't seen Tweety do, of course due to his nature as a Toon it's possible he could do them if he thinks he can, but again, Jerry has shown more directly that such as manipulating his own gravity and that of other things around him, making things come to life, entering others dreams and affecting the real world, breathing fire, electricity, controlling light, and even controlling the plot of the cartoon and ending it whenever he wants.

Of course Tweety has things like the Gossamer Potion, Super Hero Cape, and Crash Helmet that make him invincible for a bit, but Jerry's superior speed would mean Tweety wouldn't have a chance to even touch him and use that invincibility before the effects wear off. In fact, there are a lot of Tweety's gadgets and abilities that either wouldn't affect Jerry or he'd have a direct counter to them; The Boombox that makes everyone dance? Jerry has literally danced around situations like that. Tweety's ghost form that makes him invincible, intangible, and time travel? Jerry has glasses that allow him to see invincible ghosts, he's comparable to Tom who has touched spirits, and can counter Tweety's Ghost type of time travel, and the effects of the ACME Rewind-O-Matic, with a genie wish (more on that later). Tweety's giant forms like Monster Tweety, Pterodactyl Tweety, and Frankentweety? While Jerry isn't as good at fighting giant creatures as Tweety is, he has a better record of outsmarting them, playing tricks on them and using his small size to dodge them. He also has things like The White Ring, a growth potion, and the Shrinking and Enlarging Ray to increase his size without sacrificing his intelligence. In fact, Jerry can even use the Ray on Tweety to turn his giant forms small, or make him smaller than he already was.

I could go on here listing every single thing that Jerry and Tweety have, but my point is that besides all of their things in common, they both have a lot of different things that can counteract each other's things. The difference is that Jerry's unique things are more specific in countering some of Tweety's things and harder to deal with than Tweety's things. Tweety can give Jerry bad luck and fleas, Jerry can make gravity disappear and make Tweety smaller.

Another advantage that Jerry has? Magic. Yes, after searching everywhere, I was surprised to learn that Tweety has never used any kind of magic in any of his appearances, he has fought Magic Users like Diego, Witch Hazel and Sylvester occasionally, but not his own magic, the only magic that Tweety has is Genie Magic, but I will go into more detail in a moment. Jerry not only has more magic than everyone Tweety has faced, but he has different kinds of magic. He has his own magic, the magic of the magic ring, a magic hat that he can use to summon whatever he wants, and the magic wand that allows him to do things like telekinesis, transmute, paralyze, give things life, liquidize others, make things vanish, stop others in time, erupt earth to summon living fire, and even change the physiology of somebody else.

They both have genie lamps as well, with Jerry having 3 genies while Tweety only has one, and Jerry's three genies should do the same. Tweety having Smokey's lamp allows him to counter some of Jerry's magical abilities such as transmutation, telekinesis, make things vanish, shrink and enlarge people and objects, he can even do things like put Tweety in any position of power he wants or turn others into genies to work for Smokey. But not only can Jerry's genies do the same things, but his genies have been shown to be capable of things we've never seen Smokey do like reading minds, giving hyperspeed to whoever asks for it, rewinding time, and one of two things, or he can change reality so that cats are pests and mice are pets, or mindwash others into believing those are the roles of those animals, either way it's more impressive than what Smokey has been shown to do, and Tweety only has one genie while Jerry has three.

Now, on the subject of assistance they would have in the fight. In addition to Smokey, Tweety has stuff like a Giant Venus Flytrap that can eat an entire person and an ACME Bulldog that Tweety looks more like than Hector. In Jerry's case… At this point, you may already know he has more help on his side. He has two belts that he can use to call a superhero and multiple ninjas to help him, a Gong to call upon a Samurai Buddy Guard that will protect him at all costs, a Tiny Bulldog that we've seen do impressive things on-screen like completely eating Tom, a Elephant Alert Whistle that can call elephants to come where he is, and even multiple robots with so many unique abilities for each one that it would be tedious to list them all. Even with his duplication (which Jerry can also do and also has technological and magical ways to make even more clones) Tweety would be outnumbered not only because of the help that Jerry could call more easily and in greater quantities, but help that would be more useful than all the characters that have protected Tweety in all his cartoons that are basically big animal. And if Tweety somehow destroys Jerry's allies in any way, he can use the Re-integrate Ray to return them to normal and get back into the fight.

But despite all this, Tweety has three HUGE advantages, and it is on vehicles. It's true that Jerry has a lot of more vehicles than Tweety, with several cars, motorcycles, tanks, boats, planes, and various wacky unconventional vehicles (so many that I had to leave some out to not be redundant), but none of that matters because all of them pale in comparison to Tweety's Mobile Crane. First off, it's WAY bigger than any vehicle Jerry has, and unlike Jerry who has several different individual vehicles for on the road, under the sea, and flying, Tweety's Crane can transform into any shape he wants to run on the ground, fly in the air, and go under sea. The closest thing Jerry has is his Race Card with multiple little gadgets, but like I said, Tweety's Crane is not only bigger, but also a lot faster - Jerry's car can go around the world in relatively short periods of time, while Tweety's Crane can get to parts in under a minute, and it's also strong enough to move the rings of Saturn. All of that combined with the precision with which Tweety uses his crane and can switch to a hand that can hold a hammer, the crane alone could destroy all of Jerry's vehicles easily, and help him get around the mouse so he can damage it more easily.

Another would be his cages, Tweety's cages, even his normal cage has a lot of protective equipment that could be a challenge for Jerry to deal with, from electrified bars, bear traps, robot arms, and various things. Of course, these are used more for defense than combat, but in a fight Jerry would have to take on Tweety and it would be very difficult to do that himself with the level of protection his cages have.

As for the last huge advantage that Tweety has? The Pencil, ironically, its greatest potential is not drawing but erasing. Although Jerry and Tweety both have broken regenerations, the Pencil might be what Tweety needs in order to beat Tweety by erasing Jerry completely. Sure Jerry has come back from being erased before, but the time he did it he still had his animation outlines and was able to come back from that, but the Pencil can erase absolutely everything on a Toon including the outlines, and even Toons like Bugs Bunny can't come back from that unless they're redrawn, which I doubt Tweety would want to do in the context of a Fight to the Dead.

In conclusion, Tweety and Jerry both have many of the same abilities and arsenals that are equal, but when it comes to the more unique things about them, Jerry takes the edge here. Tweety has a couple of forms that can affect Jerry, and his crane and pencil could help him beat him easily. But Jerry has more abilities and gadgets overall with Tweety, many more ways to counter many of the things that could help Tweety, and he has so much help on his side that Tweety just can't keep up with so much on the mouse side.

Tertiary Factors

When it comes to other extra factors, it is hard to decide who has the advantage here in different areas. First, theoretically both Jerry and Tweety should have the same overall experience having been around since prehistory and having lived through several different periods of history, but it is one thing to have lived all that time and another thing to have done in that time.

Comparing the two, Jerry has more overall experience than Tweety, Tweety has had a variety of jobs but in comparison Jerry has had many more. Tweety has helped Granny solve mysteries, and has been a famous actor, but not only has Jerry done all that, he is also a musketeer trained to serve royalty, as a monster hunter who has stopped many of these beings, and has worked alongside some of the greatest characters in fiction such as Robin Hood and Sherlock Holmes.

When it comes to combat and fighting it's pretty much the same, Tweety has fought Sylvester multiple times, every kind of cat that went for him, other Toons like Daffy and Taz, criminals, and even a centuries-old wizard, but in comparison Jerry has faced Tom, Spike, the rest of cats in the franchise, various animals, criminals, monsters, giants, dragons, witches, robots, etc. They've both been around a long time and done a lot more than just hear about their feline rivals, but comparing everything they've done in their histories and who they've faced, Jerry is easily the one with more under his belt.

In terms of combat, Jerry has shown more archery and swordsmanship than Tweety has, not to say that Tweety couldn't use a sword or a bow but Jerry's greater knowledge in both arts would help him in terms of long range attacks and if he could get his hands on something to hit Tweety directly. In terms of hand-to-hand combat, the two are very even considering they both know exactly the same martial arts as each other except for Kung Fu and Ninjutsu. Normally Kung Fu would be superior to Ninjutsu for direct combat but Tweety used his Ninjutsu to defeat an old Martial Arts master, and Jerry was also trained by a Spiritual Mentor, but we don't know the specifics of them and- screw it, they both have the same knowledge in Martial Arts.

In terms of intelligence it's a bit more complicated since you have to analyze everything on a case-by-case basis. In comparison Jerry seems to be more knowledgeable in chemistry, making chemicals with effects such as increasing his speed, size, or strength, while Tweety has never been shown to be capable of doing anything like that. In contrast Tweety has been shown to be more expert in robotics and construction than Jerry. It is true that Jerry has built many electronic things, but not to the level of Tweety who knows how to handle devices that change someone's personality without having touched them before, can create a machine that predicts the future, and can easily use the technology of the DC universe.

When it comes to regular intelligence it's kind of hard to say, both of them have outsmarted pretty much everyone who has tried to eat or catch them, using disguises, multiple manipulation techniques, and defeating powerful enemies with nothing but their wit. One could argue that Jerry should be smarter than Tweety because outsmarting Tom is more impressive than outsmarting Sylvester, but that's getting into minor details that are for a different debate. One would think that Jerry's confidence could use Tweety to his advantage, but the same can be said for Tweety's absent-mindedness, so both of their weaknesses wouldn't make much of a difference. So, both would have the same experience with many little difference in favor of Jerry having the opportunity to show said intelligence more times.

Now lastly there is the debate if there is any way to even "Kill" these two. Jerry and Tweety can survive virtually anything and can regenerate from any effects done to them, so while Jerry has several advantages, this matchup may never end. In Tweety's case he does have one previously mentioned advantage, the Pencil which can permanently delete Jerry. But the thing I mentioned is that when Jerry for some reason dies he can return to a new body, but it is unknown if he can return like that after being erased by the Pencil because we have never seen it, but it is still a possibility.

The thing is, with Tweety we know what brings him back, the Looney DNA, the Tooniness, and people still remembering him. What's funny is, Jerry can take care of all that stuff, I'm serious. The Looney DNA? The magic wand has been shown to turn lung-breathing people into gill-breathing people by wanting water, virtually changing their physiology, and we know Looney DNA is changeable, so the possibility is there. The Tooniness? There's an episode where a respirator-like device sucks the Tooniness out of Toons right out of them, not unlike the times Jerry has used a regular vacuum cleaner to literally suck the life out of Tom, much the same. People remembering Tweety? He once used one of his wishes to have him and Tom switch roles in the house, doing one of two things; or brainwash everyone into believing that's just the way things are, or change the rules of reality so that things have always been that way. What Jerry could use to either make people forget about Jerry, or make it so that Jerry never existed or didn't make that big of an impact so that people would remember him.

I know that last part seems like a stretch, but it's honestly more than what Tweety can do with the Pencil, which is generally about 50% functional. Unlike Tweety, Jerry doesn't have some sort of physiological, magical or lore explanation for why he can do the things he can, he's just a wacky cartoon character, and Tweety can't do anything about it for this and other reasons previously explained in the previous sections, giving Jerry one last advantage in this category.

Conclusion

At the beginning of this blog it was hard to decide who between the two would win, the more research I did and learned more things about both, the more and more obvious the winner became.

Both are equal in many things like abilities, arsenals and intelligence, and Tweety is not completely lost here, as he has several weapons and items he could use against Jerry, his Crane is better than all of his vehicles, he could be protected from any attack from Jerry inside one of his cages, has better knowledge of construction and machinery, and the pencil is an easier way to defeat Jerry for good in contrast to all the specific things Jerry has to do to get rid of Tweety for good.

But looking at the big picture, if Jerry kinda takes this, not only does he have abilities and items that Tweety has not shown to have, but he has almost perfect counters to any special things Tweety could do, unlike Tweety who has almost nothing to counter the many special things Jerry has. And even though they can both survive untold amounts of damage and come back from any form of harm, Jerry's strength and speed advantage were still far ahead of anything Tweety could offer, with Jerry being more capable of beating Tweety in some ways than vice versa, not to mention that Jerry and the help can directly summon outnumbered Tweety in a way that is not even funny. Combined with his greater overall experience, more skill in different areas, and also having a way to eliminate Tweety from existence, it makes Jerry have more ways to win in the big picture than Tweety.

And I know many here will say that I'm lowballing both of them and that I should use the exact same things I used in the Tom and Wile blogs, but the thing is, if I did that, the only thing I would change is that both of them would not only have unmeasurable durability, but also unmeasurable strength and unmeasurable speed. That wouldn't change their weapons, their experiences, and how both of their physiology works, making it so that, even though it's more difficult, Jerry still has the advantages to win that he had before, but the process would only be more difficult.

I know many of you are going to disagree with me and I don't blame you but at the end of the day we're just determining who would win between a cartoon mouse and a cartoon bird, it's not the end of the world. VS is subjective so just because this fight ends the way it did, doesn't mean another Tom and Jerry VS Looney Toons Matchup would necessarily end the same way. wink wink. The thing is, both Jerry and Tweety are the greatest examples of never underestimating the little guy, respectively they're both amazing Toons that are as powerful as they are funny, but in the end Jerry had the greater strength, speed, skills and experience to turn the little canary into Sylvester's lunch. Looks like Jerry took a bite out of the cheese-colored bird, and That's all for the blog Folks!

The Winner… is Jerry Mouse.

Hi guys, Bluegatito here. Thanks for watching the blog, I hope you liked it. Seriously this was a huge project for my second ever blog, I almost regretted doing it multiple times, but after seeing the final result. I love it, and I hope you guys love it.

After this I will take a well-deserved break from VS Blogs for... obvious reasons, but sooner or later I will return with more Blogs with Matchups that I'm sure you didn't expect to see converted into blogs but I'm sure you'll like them.

I will announce my return at the end of a future blog that has nothing to do with VS Blog, but bye then.
